You're just a busy little bee jacquie. Excited to see what you came up with for mine. Don't know about the storm making to much difference on the mail time, but guess it could. I know the closer it gets to the holidays the slower it is. Suppose it's because there is so much more being sent. Happy sewing

I'm so tired.. what was I doing? shoot.. I dunno.. I still have 5(6) to finish (have to find the 6th fabric) but I pretty much know what I'm doing, just gotta do it. Just so many projects. Started a new job tuesday, and school.. and I really dont' have a clue where I left my brain.. if anyone sees it.. can you ship it to me? one more day.. I'm gonna get some sewing done this weekend.. promise.

I got blocks... but haven't gotten the one Buddy's mom says she sent..I don't think anyways. maybe it galavanting with the 6th fabric I was supposed to get.. I will have to check the junk mail pile this weekend as well. I keep a paper bag below my mail slot and usually nothing falls in on it's own but sometimes it does.. so I'll have to empty it and look in there for missing fabrics/blocks.

I'm tired.. I need to be tucked in. So glad there's pics here. My brain can process pics. can't process anymore words today.

I received a lovely block that flew in from Scotland the other day. Thank you so much!!! I think I have most of my blocks back but now will go check. With luck i can photo them all tomorrow to share with you how lovely they all are. I do not have a design wall I have however a clean design carpet that I will model them all out on. thank you everyone for playing with me. this has been a fun experience. I think having done small and large groups this time I would definetely go large or two large groups. so many nice blocks come home to you and you can really put together a quilt in no time with a ton of blocks. anyone signing up next round or just happy your completing your obligations this time going?Name: rubys scottland.jpg

I wouldn't object to too much mustard with my ketchup

It looks "Civil War" to me too, but it's actually French (French General "Maison de Garance" is the line). I am making more of my own blocks and the fabrics I chose to go with it are all Civil War fabric lines!

Woo hoo! Can't wait to get another block

Today I received a pretty block from K. Whispell. Thank you so much. I like the two fabrics you added with mine. The one I sent you wasn't the prettiest but you sure made it look great!! Thank you again.

    Hello Everyone
I am alive!! Sorry I have been so quiet this go round. It seems like life wanted to give me so much to deal with. Aside from my brain surgery in September I have been dealing with issues for Izabella. I think I am getting on top of it all now though...I hope
New Rounds start in January so keep those blocks moving.

I am mailing home blocks today to:
    travelinggramma
    ctmhjenn
    Anastasia

I just have buddy'smom & tlambing to finish and mail for this group.
T-I ran out of the fabric I used so I found a fabric from another swap that I could use more blocks. I will mail it tomorrow and again I am so sorry for the delay on my F8!!

I am working on my side swap blocks now and I will have them home before the deadline I promise.
Any questions, complaints or anything else please let me know.
    Huge Hugs
    April

Woo Hoo!! I got THREE blocks in the mail and they are ALL fantastic!!!

The first TWO 9" blocks are from CTMHJenn! Thanks Jen - they're wonderful and play nice with everything. Very well constructed blocks!!

The second is a 6" X 9" block from Jacqui in Scotland - and it's sooooo cool! I love the way she fussy cut the pieces of my fabric. And the strips with the red and blue flowers play very well with the two blocks I got from Jenn!!

Jenn - glad you like the block I sent. I re-designed the placement of the colors to make your fabric more prominent. Glad you like the blue ... I waffled between the blue and a pink.

Oh man ... I want to kick myself ... HARD!! I just messed up a block. Thankfully I'm pretty sure I have enough fabric to fix it.

I'm quitting for the evening. Disgusted with myself.

jaba, 'doghousemom' requested in her letter that we made her blocks devisable by 3" IF POSSIBLE... i decided to use a 'PP' pattern and extended it...
i think it turned out quite fun! i'm not that used to 'PP', but i got there eventually lol...
i'm glad you like it 'doghousemom', and that it got to you safely!!!!
