April, at the close of sign ups if you really need someone to fill a spot in the last group you can add me to it.

My grandmother use to belong to a friendship club.. however they didnt swap quilt blocks, they swapped for whatever the person collected. My grandmothers was pitchers. She got her lst one in 1944 and her last one in 1966, right before she died. She has at least one from every state and there are very few duplicates. The smallest is about an inch high and the biggest is a water pitcher. I am beginning to realize why they meant so much to her...it was like this swap..she made friends everywhere! She kept a list and I was given the pitchers a couple of years ago along with the list of who sent them. They had been boxed up since 1966 and it meant so much to go thru them and "remember" for her. SOOOOO this just isnt a quilt swap..its a friendship maker! Just think of what you might get from anywhere in the world!! Plus a lifetime of memories!!

I will get is washed and ready to go out this week. I'm a lil scared to that I won't be able to get the blocks done as quickly as needed. I did figure that if I have 4 months then if I did one every 3 1/2 days I am fine. :) Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
So glad you are going to do this swap Angie...I will help if you need it.
Hugs,
Mom

I'll do it this way -- If you swapped with me in 2.0 (or in the monthly bee swap) -- do you want to swap again? I won't be offended by honest answers, I promise.

Oh, I hope you signed up again! I swapped with you before and it was so much fun!

My mom and I are sharing this swap (again!) and we have picked 3 fabrics to send. I have some of them cut and ready to send! :)

Jetnica, I'm also joining again after doing 2.0. I'd be very happy to swap with you again.

oatw, I'm happy to hear that your mom will be joining in the fun again too.

I signed up to do two groups and my granddaughter who spends the summer with me signed up to do a group also. Can't wait to start making block with her and to see thefinal product. This is such a fun swap, if you are thinking about it, come on and do it. You meet such great people and it is so much fun, you will really be sorry if you don't make the sign up, so DO IT NOW while April still has it open.
Hugs to all
