Oh...I like the Block Party name. Vermont is a loooongg waaay away from me, but I'd be there with you in spirit!! Oohhh..kinda' ghoulish when I think you are talking about all that stone rubbing and such!

It does sound like a fun retreat though :lol:

you really should, its not hard and it will open up a world of quilting that you're missing out on.

the bulk of the DJ blocks can be paper pieced and they just come out so beautiful this way because of the exact precision you can achieve with paper piecing.
I'll look for an online tutorial today. I wanted to look after work yesterday, but we were without power from about 2:30 pm to 3:30 am.

Paper piecing is really easy, I find ya get one & two right the rest is a breeze!!!

I love the block party idea too. I think the Vermont Quilt show would be terriffic.

Isn't it great I love paper piecing and it is addictive you'll want to do all your blocks that way :lol:

oh, this is too cool. i wish it wasn't so expensive. i do the blocks in embroidery for the back.
