Good afternoon jacquie, I took your row to the LQS and the ladies loved it. Everyone especially loved Col's submarine and all the embroidery for the fence around the church and the yo-yo flowers outside your cottage.

Hello ladies, I'm back on track, although everything that could go wrong with these blocks did. But I'm passed all that now. Finally got them finished. And here they are:

Please note I will finish the handsewing on blocks 1;3 & 5 when my rows are returned to me.

""YAA-HOO"" ..... The "View From My Window" row is off and on its way to Boopers ...... so Betty, be on the lookout for it. Got Joans row all sketched out and know what I am doing for Row #2 - "Houses" ..... she is getting a whole row of Birdhouses ..... (hanging ones and a couple mounted on posts).

Got 3-4 pages to 'update' in the Lions Club Scrapbook that I put together earlier this year. The scrapbook will be in competition this weekend, up in Sun Valley, Idaho at the Lions Club International State Convention. Will get that out of my hair ..... and then Joan's row gets priority status.

Thanx Jacquie for the complement!
I don't know how I get myself so buried these days ...... I have "always said" .... "I am my own worst enemy"! The word "NO" I guess, is not a word in my vocabulary! Of course then .... while I'm busy working on a project .... my mind is working overtime, designing and working on 2 or 3 more projects down the line. Does one think this may be the root of my problem? Oh well ..... such is life!  :? ;)

wooohooo!!!

Linda's row arrived today!! that was very very quick!! wow!! blew my socks off actually!!
i tell you what ladies!! linda's row is wonderful to look at in the flesh! and comparing it with the postcards, it all comes to life!!
i can also see why you love these buildings so much, (i too have a love of 'victoriana') i imagine these are the oldest buildings still around in AU.
a lot of ours are slowly disappearing, as the councils ect don't have the money to look after them. shame :(
well, now i have it here i can really get to know it and see what 'it wants me to do with it'...
