Just take a look at what made me smile today......Mrs. B. must know I'm working on the Zentangle thing. She sent 3 silk trading cards, she even used some gold thread. The silk is painted. I think they are beautiful! Thank you so much Mrs. B I'd come calling but your too far away........

For those wanting to learn about Zentangle these are two sites that explain it and show you how to draw the patterns. Suzanne McNeil's blog is also very interesting as she combines Zentangle, art and quilting on her blog.
I love doing it and have nearly filled two art diaries with tangles.

The zentangles are amazing!! I discovered this type of doodling this summer and am hooked. I tried my hand a quilt, loosely based on a zentangle. (I posted it over the summer, but here it is again.) (I'm kind of into the hamsa lately...)
