Hi Linda of the West! Long time since we've chatted.

I now have a million ideas floating through my head. Eeeck!

I love CraftyGemini's videos. She breaks things down sew simply. She has a great paper piecing tutorial for beginners. :-D

I tried it in a class once and loved it. I might try it again for this swap!

Here's what you do: take some of the fibers and place or sprinkle them where you want them to go. Then, using some kind of non stick pressing surface below and above (I'm pretty sure we used parchment paper and it was fine, you can also use a teflon pressing sheet, like you'd use for fusible things), you press it. I'm pretty sure you don't have to press for long because it melts/fuses fairly quickly. Let it cool for a moment before you peel off the parchment. Also, if you press only on a section of it, some of the other fibers can hang loose and fluffy and it gives a nice effect.

Main advice - don't let your iron or your surface touch it directly. It will stick! Happy experimenting!
