Huh... That will be a little while quiltermomma! I have been pitting cherries like crazy and freezing them for later use. I have done half a five gallon bucket so far. The birds of the neighborhood think that my tree is the party place and I am picking as fast as I can ahead of them.

Then I am doing my major cleaning for the summer. I do that four times a year when the next season begins.

I did finish up the binding on another charity quilt yesterday. The pile is getting much lower now. Only five left to quilt and bind and I will be finished for the year on those.

I was over at elenore burns site this morning. She has the cutiest pumpkin farm pattern! I might have to buy that one.

See those crows are eating your cherries as well. Shame on them. Send me a batch. They sound good. Fresch cherry jam, yum. Then when you bring on over those cherries, you can clean my house as well. the walls need washed and painted while your at it. I will do those charity quilts for ya while you clean.

I am seeing all the great ideas you are coming up with. I have these 9" finished blocks.
Would they work since they are not all the same fabrics?Name: May 2012 flowers 097 (Small).jpg

They are 91/2 square unfinished, yes. Is that OK?

I looked in the info on the first page and 91/2 by 91/2 is not mentioned, so maybe they won't fit in?

I believe they have to be divisible by 3 and 9 is divisible for sure.

I thought they would be great.
The hard part will be deciding which ones to use.
I was just going to ask if I could do an embroidery block...

    Hi jill,
Those are lovely blocks for fall! You will get a mix of blocks back. There isn't always the exact amount of blocks all the sizes of a person's sets. But, all of the blocks are so nice, I know you will be happy with them. Have you never done a swap before? You will be so excited and happy to recieve your squishy package in the mail, it will feel like christmas. LOL...

No, I've not been in a block swap before. I am so looking forward to seeing all the different blocks that I get-yippee! I have a couple more ideas, but they will have to wait until after the 4th of July.

Actually, I would love all different sizes, rather than just what I send.
