you ever just work on blocks and nothing comes out correctly. one was too big, couldn't even trim it as I would cut off the points. one was 1/2 inch too small, that really sucked. I finally got one of my blocks to turn out ok and I'm not able to upload a picture.

I'm sort of in a quilting funk. Due to overspending and such and such extravagance, I will have to give up my two bedroom apartment (where all my quilty stuff lives) and rent the space out to a nice lady. It's zoned to run a business and she is a massage artist. She is anxious to move in. I had two quilting projects and this red white and blue swap left to do before I have to move all that stuff into the house. So now all that is left is the last 3 sets of blocks for the swap.

I"m right where you are Lstew, not much is coming out right. I got the fabrics mixed up and then the geese didn't fly in the correct direction. Oh......dear..... some encouragement please.

Marcia

Oh Marcia, that's too bad about your quilting space, but on the bright side you will be able to get a massage now and then to relieve the stress! You can also look at it as an opportunity to reorganize!

Don't sweat over the blocks, take a breath, a walk or just enjoy the sunshine for a bit then go back to it. You do such great work, I'm sure it will all come out fine in the end.

UhOh. Been out of town and just reread the whole list of comments. I may have screwed up in making all my backgrounds creamish in color, vs tan. Signed up and got to sewing and didn't read any more! So, do I mail my now finished blocks in, or should I just sit this one out???

I am sure the blocks are just fine, the background is suppose to be cream and we know that cream color to one person may look different so I will PM my address and we will give it a shot.

I have 1 1/2 sets to sew and I’m done. 1 set will be done tomorrow for sure the other the next day. So I guess I need to have an address where I will be mailing my package to. Hopefully by the end of the week, my package will be mailed out.
