    Maybe clip into edges of wing- making a feathered look?
    Add some flames to the wing itself?

    thanks for the ideas sapdoggie, i just don't know what to do, my funky cats are taking over the house, and the chickens are all over too. i'm so excited about this. i love the 3d chicken, and all the others, i'll have enough to make 2 quilts form this swap. any onther ideas for the hot wings, PLEASE>>>COMMENT

    Lynnie-
    perhaps making the wing a little thinner - maybe find some chicken wing clipart and use that as a template.
    I am working on a design that spells out the word HOT and on either side is a wing with feathers.

    We must be on the same wave length today- I just finished 2 designs one called "chicken pot pie" and the other is "deviled egg". I'll post these later today.

    Ok, did a little fiddling around and have done my chicken differently. I used ribbon instead of fabric for the tail and crown because i figure the fabric would ravel waaay too much when washed and end up looking weird. I also added his beak. I still have to put the eyes down and find some orange for his legs, but they will be there when I am done. The size will be 6x9
