I love the blocks that have been shown so far. I am working on mine.
I have a nephew, Charlie, who is 9 yrs old and in 4H. His project is chickens. He has raised several and has shown them at several local fairs and won blue ribbons. He also tells me all the time that he doesn't have one of my quilts. So guess who this quilt will be far. I am very excited to get my blocks done. Hope to post a pic later.

    Awesome blocks, y'all!

I've got 3 more sets done (pant pant pant pant), for a total of 6 sets. I doubt I'll have time to make more sets since I'm in both Boomerang groups, but if I do, I will.

    Here are the newest pics:

"Mommas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Fryers!" - 12-1/2" block

"Shelly" - these feathers vary from blues to aquas to greens, and the wings are peacock feather fabric. The background kind of reminded me of eggs. These are 12-1/2" but can be cut down to 12-1/2" x 9-1/2" if you want

"Peanut" - the feathers vary from yellows to reds; each block is slightly different. Chicken scratching in the background! LOL! 12-1/2" block
