Honestly, Roxanne, I have never whipped something out like her before. Even "I" was impressed. Thanks though.

Can't wait to develop her ah-hem... character!

I really loved the chicken swap from last year. Those 3" blocks are cute but... it takes a lot of them to make a decent size block.
I got my top all done but not the backing so it is a wip or a ufo depending.
I'll keep watch here to see all your creations and maybe join in!
    Everyone can use more chickens!
    :-D

    Raggedyann,
Fussy cut just means that you found a cute chicken design on a fabric, and want to put it into a block. You "fussy cut" it to show the entire design on your square. Make sense?
    Clear as mud? :)

Oh, I know the answer to your question. A fussy cut is where you cut a specific part of your fabric out. Let's say there is an egg in the print of your fabric, you center your cut to include that egg in the piece you cut. See thru rulers help a lot here. Make sure your cut is big enough to leave enough room for your seam allowances on all four sides so you don't lose your subject. :-D

    Mariposa... you are so fast!!!

    PS: where is Quilted Heart?
