Oh leilady, but you do have great restaurants out there. :-P

Havplanty, I think since your have your pal's zip code, you can just see what they have near where they live as far as restaurants go and go from there. :P

Yes, we do have some great restaurants....just not the chain type. :( Too bad all the tv commercials are for those chain restaurants and makes us Hawaii people wait for them to open a store/restaurant here. We finally got Bath and Body Works this past April!!! Yay!!! Don't have to lug all that stuff home in the luggage or mail it. LOL

Olive Garden, Red Lobster, aApplebees, Ruby Tuesday, Subway.
Don't eat out much but would sure use a gift certificate. I think it's a great idea.

leiladylei one can buy gift certificates for most local areas through restaurant.com. you can look up by zip code and see what restaurant.com has for that area and buy the certificate or in the case of chain restaurants, you can buy a gift card that the receiver can use.

but on another note, isn't bath & body works just the greatest? i need a 12-step program to curb my shopping there. i really need some help!!! :-D
