I can't believe how much snow you are going to get. It's almost the anniversary of the Blizzard of 78 that was the first week of Feb. This one seems like it might have more snow. I went out to shovel and I had about 3" and it's still snowing so I'll be going back out shortly. They cancelled the winter storm warning in NH and replaced it with the blizzard warning. Lynnie, CT and Dwina are all going to be in for a lot of snow. Don't go out if you don't have to. I was used to it living in NH but now I'm in Ohio if I see more than 3" I'm not liking it. And the big storm isn't starting until 10 tonight. Everyone take care

Thanks. That's ok, it will get me started.

All of you in the path of the snow blizzard, I will be praying for you.

They are predicting 16"- 24". All year it has been coastal storms. They have increased the wind to 60 Knots. Due to unfinished remodeling my house is very drafty and those high north winds are gonna be brutal.

Since I have to shovel myself, there is no way I can even imagine that much snow. I remember when I moved here in 07 that one week before they had 2 feet of snow on Valentine's day. My neighbor across the street had plowed me out before I even moved here on the 21st of Feb. But since then I think the most I've had was 11" and I didn't shovel that. I've shovelled 7" and that was too much. I'm done shovelling for today and in one hour I'm taking her out for a ride. I hoe the roads are plowed. Maybe the winds will change and you won't get that much. Here's a pic from Maine Mag. I think this might be the one in Portland. I forgot to resize it I'll do it later

Here is the wonderful swap I received from Elayne (roserips) The turtle has such an adorable expression on his cute face. The needlebook is just so pretty with a really pretty button and homemade pin inside. She also sent a very cute half yard of fabric and a fun looking pattern. Thank You so much Elayne.

Pat nice lighthouse picture. Today it is sunny and 50* here. Not our usual Jan. weather. Hope everyone gets less snow on the east coast than predicted. Stay safe and warm. Lynnie feel better soon.

What an adorable turtle! The needle case is beautiful, too. I love the button, is it made of shell? How cleverly she tied everything together! Love the fabric and is the mug rug a part of your swap as well? How cute is that mug rug!!! I love the "hay" around the edge, all of the fabrics coordinate perfectly.

Terrific job, Elayne! Lucky you, Mary!
