Lynnie, I have had the needle stick like what seems to have happened to you. (Stuck in the fabric in the down position ) If you can take the needle out. Maybe then you can hand crank the wheel to lift the needle shaft. Then work on getting the needle and cloth out very slowly. I hope this makes sense. I've done this a few times and once it was all out the machine was fine. Good luck sweetie. Just work on it slowly.

Mary, it also broke something in side, the repair guy said not to try and fix it. it will cost about 70-100 to fix it.
He said I'm better off getting a new one. It was on sale at Walmart, so in a few weeks, we'll go and get another one. till then, I'll hand sew. I'm making crazy quilt ornaments for this year. all hand beading and stitching, so i don't need a machine for that. It was making a weird noise before it all went kaput. RIP, my machine. I'll lurk here and can't wait to see what ideas everyone comes up with.
