I have spent the majority of the day SEWING!!!!!!

I know, I know...it's very hard to get any actual sewing done with all that goes on with this board....however, my Feb. 1st deadline for the BoomBlock swap is quickly approaching...I think I have 5 blocks to go and I'm finished....YIPPEE....
ok, now let me go find Krystyna's word of the day.....

Thanks all for the b-day wishes. I didn't get anything done today but cleaning. UGH. Dust Bunnies have taken up residence and had a gazillion babies.

BUT...I went by the Quilt Nest here in Castle Rock and they are having a Jelly roll Race on the 4th of Feb, I decided to go to instead of the other. You race to see who finishes first on the jelly roll, and when you are done you have a lap quilt topper. Plus the person who gets done first wins 50.00 for the shop. It'll be fun even if I don't win. Hilarious I imagine, with all the women and machines running like rabbits.

I forgot to add.. we are FINALLY out of the huge snow storm that blew through the PNW area of WA. If any of you were watching the news we got hit hard with alot of snow, very cold temps, that created ice, took down trees, power lines, thus NO POWER (300,000 that we heard of), etc. a huge mess. Looks like Idaho is getting hit, and the CHicago area. MY thoughts are with all who are dealing with the heavy snow fall and ice.

I am have been TRYING to clean my sewing room today
(with not much luck), and it is proving to be a BIG task
to do. Not to mention I have been pm'ing back and forth
with krystyna most of the afternoon I think, lol.

Tonight I made homemade pizza (I am not a fan of pizza),
so I pull it out of the oven and pull the pizza cutter out to
cut it.
My hubs says wait we have to try the new cutter to see how
well it works, (I have my back to him) and say we don't have
any new cutters I would know since I buy everything for the
kitchen.

Can you believe the NERVE of that man!! grabbing MY 60mm
rotary cutter?, he was like what you don't like my suggestion?
I told him that I was not going to even dignify that stupid comment
with a remark.
