The past few years I've started putting up my Patriotic/4th of July decorations at the end of May for Memorial day and leaving them up all through the summer...for some reason summer and "patriotic" just go together for me and you're right K, there's Memorial day, Flag Day, the 4th, Labor day and even Constitution Anniversary week at the start of September! By then, it's time to get out all the Fall decoration haha

oops, didn't realize pic was blurry... my camera i on it's last days. I keep thinking it is dead and then it takes another picture. I really am going to buy a new one, but since this one insists on hanging on a little bit longer I think there must be one worth waiting just a little longer for!

Of all the things I forgot at home the one I miss the most is my thimble, I think I might just splurge and go buy one today, so I can finish this!

I heard from my partner Eagleoneowl2u2 that she received my DQ on Wednesday and that she really liked it.
Since she is traveling again (with 3 teens I might add!) I will post a pic of what I sent her. Enjoy.

KacyCatz, Your little doll quilt is winging it's way North to you. It looks like it's still in the wind to you. According to the USPS. Hope you like it.

DragonflyNana, I love the fireworks. What a way to celebrate.

I also am in love with the "patriotic" cowboy boot. Sew creative.

Lookie what Linda made! It's absolutely PERFECT ... even the lovely fabric you used for the back! Thank you SOOOO much. I'll get DH to hang it up as soon as he gets home from work. I'm THRILLED!

Yours is finished, too. Just waiting on a check to clear the bank so I can pay for the postage. Should be in the next day or two. DH's work hours were cut, then the microwave broke over the weekend, so our scrawny l'il piggy bank's ribs are showing this week. LOL! When it rains, it pours, I guess. Ah well, it'll pass.

Dragonfly Nana, great little patriotic quilt for eagleoneowl2u2, love the firecrackers and stars.

You just can't beat a red/white/blue quilt whether its patriotic or not!
