I'm heading home in 48 hours! Can you tell I am excited? I have really and truly enjoyed my visit with my family but it is time to go home to my hubby and return my grandson to his mommy and daddy! I was able to go quilt shop hopping twice with Nana Val. We found some really eye catching fabrics!
It will be a month on Monday that we left home. I brought 4 sewing machines with me but only used 2. One is staying here for my daughter and the other 3 are returning with me.
I've tried a couple of times to work on my DQ, I just can't get the hang of the block I chose, so when I get home I'll find another and get it finished. I feel bad mine from Juanita is sitting on my dining room table unopened in TN and I am still in Northern New York.
Enjoy your day quilting friends I am packing today as I have two more family get togethers before I leave.

i will add your sil, and family to my prayers. my sons were very against organ donation until 3 of their friends died in a horrible crash. 5 people were given a new chance at life because of the organs donated. in my sons' minds their friends lived on. they were 16 and 14, as were their friends. through a very strange twist of fate, my oldest child was not in his best friend's car. was not sitting in the front seat next to his buddy, and was not killed, like the 3 in the front seat. sadly, he was the first on the scene, and he will never forget that moment when his best friend said his name, then died. there was no drugs, there was no alcohol. just a new driver on a school field trip. inexperience killed three children and scarred 3 others in the back seat. the entire school mourned the loss . we are all organ donors. we give blood and platelets and are registered for bone marrow transplants. only people can make blood and organs, only people can donate them. if you are not an organ donor ,please consider becoming one.

Okay, here are the two sneak peaks for my partners Krystyna and Almond for July...LOL! They are both done. I just have to gather up everything and get them in packages and mail them. I will let you both guess as to which one is for which person, although I think I didn't give you too much of a peak on either one.

What the heck???? Not much of a peek you stinker!

Toooooo cute! I love that tape measure fabric.
