Love the Christmas ornaments, are those folded ones as difficult as they look? I made some similar to the mitten ones, but forgot to take pictures before I gave them away. Ladybug did a great job on that pincushion, and the thread nest is too cute! I got an amazing package from PeginCO in the Secret Pal swap. Default June Swap from Pat (nhnative)

Here are a couple of pictures to show what Pat,(nhnative) sent me. She went way above her duty to the swap. She sent 2 pretty pin cushions. also made some really nice beaded pins for them.I collect farm related items and she sent a hen that when you lift the wing there are some needles. (so cute) Also she sent some very pretty fabrics. The note paper and envelope was so pretty all lacey and embossed.I just love those stationaries. I did not receive a pin cush, for last month that is why she sent the extra one. It was not necessary but I will always think extra sweet thoughts when I look at them. I'm afraid the pictures just don't do them justice. Her sewing is terrific. Thanks so much Pat. Hope you all enjoy the pictures. Mary

The folded stars are really easy to make. You just fold the squares and then pin them to the stryofoam ball. The black mitten was made with a felted sweater. I made one from a striped sweater and I'll have to take a pic of it. The blue is not denim but just regular fabric. I think denim would be too thick

Ladybug what a cute flower pincushion and what a cute nest.

Today I went up to the North Amish country to get some fabric and after 90 miles round trip they didn't have what I wanted. It is 80 here and the dewpoint is 66 so it's starting to get humid but cooling off tomorrow so I can do lots of yard sales. I did have to put the AC on. Everyone have a great day

Pat. lucky you, lots of yard sales. there's one here tomorrow 8am. it's about 40 minutes/25 miles from here.
she has sewing stuff. soo, what does that mean. i don't think i'll get up that early for this one. The one i went to today,
for $5 i got a stack of brown fabrics. my cleaning lady is getting married and there's enough of the browns to make a jelly roll race for her. soooooo, that's what i'm doing. got a 29.95/roll of dissolve away topping for the emb machine too.
Really nice cards too. I need to get some like that, they don't have that type around here. Maybe more pc/nc pics coming in tonight.

Mary that is a very nice package you got from Pat. That was so kind of her to make an extra. The love is priceless isn't it?

I have a nice package that will go out tomorrow. I planned on it today, but we both had to go to clinic. Hubby has strep. Post office wouldn't open until later after our visit, and we had to pick up things. I am glad now though, because of a box I needed, and found for the package. Can't talk about that without giving a clue.

If anyone brings up about tomorrow being Friday 13th well, my husband has a uncle who was a P.O.W. and was finally released on Friday 13th so was a very lucky day. Our regular doctor's birthday is also tomorrow on that day. I plan to drop by the clinic tomorrow to have them slip her a special card I picked up, and making her a little something tonight.

Dad came home today. Yay!!!! I have to go down tonight, and give him his insulin, but look forward to visiting too. We all stayed glued to the tv today, because he was suppose to be on tv. as they took in the local tv station cameras on him as he was doing his exercises. They were wanting to show the things available at this facility. I think it will be on tonight though.

So many things going on around here, I have been busy.

Lauriejo I checked out those pics of your secret pal, and that is all very nice. It looks like a nice case for embroidery things. I will have to keep that in mind.

Have a great day everyone.
