I’m so excited! I hadn’t thought about adding “extras” until I got my batik swap and a few people had included them. I’ve been enjoying thinking of things I could include...what fun! I found something I think is perfect and can’t wait for swap time now!

🤣😂 just don’t get near the outside grill with, not so lean, burgers on a windy day! Half an eyebrow later and struggling to find a salon open on a Sunday afternoon was a bite, but not into the burger. Back then, a new hair style wasn’t in the plans that weekend 😢.

I am in!
I will be doing a little shopping and a little digging in my multiple stash boxes.
I assume prints are suitable, I am not sure how large the print can be before it is ruled out. So, Red, I will be trying to forward you a pic to approve any I am uncomfortable with.
Thanks again for all your hard work on the previous swap !

Red, I was in a hurry to mail and forgot to put my board name on the outside...surely you know my real name by now😉. Also realized after it mailed that the P.O. online may have put my old address as the return address. Please make sure to send to the new address in Gilbert, not the old one on Maricopa. I can pm that again if needed. I changed my address in March, but the P.O. and PayPal keep printing the old one...

Red, I have played around with collages …. small projects …. but nothing that I'm ready to share. I did a waterfall that I shared with my sewing/crafting group that got skeptical reactions, most were not sure what it represented. So I'll keep playing around until I get something recognizable. I'm sketching an ocean scene for these aquas and teals but we'll see. I've found some in my stash that look exciting. In the meantime I've got all those fantastic batiks that I'm arranging and rearranging ….. batiks are so interesting!

Red put me down for the aquas/teals. But I do have a problem, I picked out some of the fabric I want to use and I put it on my cutting board and turned around and the colors changed! What I thought was aqua or teal turn to either blue or green. What is the rule here? How do we tell for sure?

Sunrise450- I was just going to complain about this too. I pulled out from my stash and some fabrics lean to the green and some to the blue. We had the same problem with orange and purple. Secondary colors have a tendency to do that. Like before, we just do our best. I sit with my husband and get a second opinion. Sometimes I'll agree and other times I don't.
