Got my wh done and sent pm. Used a sewing theme and will be a surprise. It is one I tried last year and didn't get finished in time. I was able to finish right before my surgery.
I will be a lookie-lou on the board for the next several months as my doctor wants me to quit quilting so I can recover from hand surgery (hand not in great shape right now). I am so bummed.
Good luck everyone. Looking forward to seeing what you all create.

Wow, Rumbols....speedy girl! Can't wait to see your creation. Listen to the doctor and give the hand the rest it's needed. You'll be back at quilting in no time. Let us know how you are doing!

Well.....bummer....I have been waiting patiently for the mailman because I ordered something special for my wall hanging. It came today and it isn't the right thing!!!! All isn't wasted because my Niece (that I'm trying to cajole into joining the swap) loved the wrong thing, so she is now the proud owner. Can't tell you what it is, but now I'm waiting for the mailman Again, hoping this time I ordered the right thing! Not sure how I'm gong to give you a peek if it ever gets here...but we'll see......

Well....the mailman cometh....and so did the 'right' thing...and now....can I really do what I have in mind? I can do this....I can do this...can't I???? I promise that if it doesn't work out I'll explain everything that I intended, but lets hope it doesn't come to that. I have been super busy, but hopefully I can get my project started later today.

granky, you're making me cranky. I am very curious.

I'm not sure what I want to do, Skimming through my books and magazines for inspiration. Heres a question for everyone, I don't even know if it can be answered. I know we all enjoy anything we receive but if you could open a package and the very thing you wanted was there, what would it be?

What kind of WHing would be your favorite to receive, colors fabrics, pattern, embellishments, style? This is just a for fun question, knowing we can't choose which quilt we get.

oh Ube....tough question. Not able to answer definitively....I enjoy all the beautiful creations in our swap. Each time someone posts a picture, I think...ooooo, I like that one best....I hope I get this......then someone else posts a picture. lol! I am super easy to please. If I had a preference tho, I like unique....something someone created without a pattern....one of a kind...just winged it from something that inspired them. I think those are special....however, using patterns are awesome, too. See? I cannot answer this question. lol!
