I may not be posting much while in recovery, just so you know. Will be looking later.
Hoping all goes well through your surgery, Rumbols.

I'm in again . The thing I should practice most is some hand sewing so maybe (that's a maybe ) I can use it in this swap. I have a pattern in mind.

    Thank you Ube.

This is the quilt top Wall Hanging I'm working on. It's not a big piece. 17 x 18.

I'm still debating on the wording which is why it's still the same as it was a week ago. I'll figure it out soon. Or maybe no wording at all.....

Welcome Mona G, There are no rules in this swap except for being bigger than a mug rug and smaller than a lap quilt. Take all your experience and do what you like or challenge yourself with something new. A new technique or color combination, applique, thread painting, landscapes, collage, curves, miniature piecing or paper piecing, as examples. These small creations are a perfect place to explore the new or work towards perfecting the perfect HST.

Look through some of the old swaps and see what people have made, for inspiration.

Do what you like, you don't have to please anyone or make something you think everyone will like, that is impossible.

We are here to help along the way to answer questions and help.

Lots of us like to do seasonal pieces so we can change them out every so often or sewing related themes for our sewing areas. Something whimsical is always fun too.

Hope some of this info helps you get started.

    peace

love all the ideas. Such bright fabrics and fun ideas!

Welcome Mona we love having new people join the fun!!

Here is a picture a friend of mine shared on my FB page. She isn't a quilter but knows I love quilting.
I was so impressed with how cute this picture would be as a wall hanging!!
I'll never make it but I thought it might inspire someone!
