Usually post pictures of the ones you receive unless the person getting your block asks you to post it. That's what I've seen on here anyway. It's fun to be surprised when you get your mail and have a new block.

I have also made duplicates of almost every block I've swapped. Some out of necessity because first wasn't so good. A couple I have not made dups of because of in a hurry. Have been very busy working on raffle quilt for DD. That is done. Will ship it with 2 toss pillow covers.

Also working on DH train quilt I made him for Christmas. He only got the top pieced and a partial of the back pinned. Lots of detailed quilting on his. Lots of stops & starts. He is loving it the more I get done. he has also put his input in in quilting design suggestions. I have done a few free motion things that he smiles at, like swirls in smoke from trains. I will post when finished.

Next week I'm going to play. That means catch up on block swaps. Carol Hupp is March partner. She has a fun theme. All swap blocks are special and allow for extra creativity.

Is any one up for an extra swap? My theme is "See the USA". Something that represents your area.

Some of us either do not have the equipment or do not know how anyway to post pix. I for one do not care if you post pix of the ones you send me for both those reasons.

Is it too late to join the swap? This would be my first ! So any advice would be greatly appreciated. Do we make one block a month to swap or several? I LOVE this site!

Never too late. Just pm madienmaine. You are assigned one person a month but you can do any amount of extras you want. I just joined last month and I think it is really fun with a lot of great people. Come on and join in. The more the merrier.

Dottie, I would love to see your collection of houses, I bet it is spectacular. Love your new houses. Love the red friendship star. The waterwheel block is great, I love the colors you used.

    hi all,
been sewing today like 'billieo' lol...
i've just finished my March block for 'Jennifer22206', and an 'extra' swap block for 'Abonda'.
they're actually the same block, just different colours... my block choice seemed perfect for both ladies 'requirement's', sew lets see what they think when they arrive at their new homes!! :)
i will post them tomorrow, all being well :)

    ohh!!!

by the way, congrats to 'PokerDiva' for opening the 200th page!!!!

That is a stunning blue block Toraibelle. I love the house blocks, they are all so unique. I think my next quilt will be house blocks.

Welcome to all the newbies! You're going to have lots of fun here!
