Oh my goodness- the mailman had two heavy envelopes waiting for me :!: :!: :!:

One is from Carsey with three blocks- cars, boots and princess. Very cute- thank you

The second is full of pinwheel blocks from dotcomdtcm- all 8 of them- 2 for each of the four quilts :!: :!: :!: How very generous of you THANK YOU :!: :!: :!:

I am working on finishing your blocks tonight and tomorrow. They will be out by the end of the week. I know I am cutting it close. Thanks for understanding.

Off to get some more sewing done

    LOL
Oh No. I was hoping you weren't in the area that had some flooding going on. Hope all is going well with you, and yes, rain, rain go away. They said on the news that since the water year began which is October, we have had 96% of our normal rain fall. In Salt Lake they have had over 15" of water since October. That is crazy.
NM could use some of that rain. Here in ABQ we are the driest in almost a century.

She is in college and going to her four year and does not have any money so I have to pay. This bothers me. Back in my day, I paid for everything or my parents did.
Traditionally ALL that has to do with the bride is paid by her father. Nowdays ,though, the bride and her family pay. The rehersal dinner, groomsmen's attire ,etc. is, usually to be cared for by groom. I think that is why the bridesmaids' dresses are usually cheap and not too great, just the right color.

Sorry to say it, but I have fallen quite behind on this board. I have received some LOVELY blocks, and I can't even tell you who made them. I AM SORRY!!!!! I opened these while I was literally on my way out the door to a quilting retreat. I was so excited and thrilled with the blocks, I put them right up on my design wall with the others, and did not make note of which came from which envelope. I then rushed off the my retreat.

PLEASE tell me which block came from whom!

My April partner, Quiltjoey, sent a beautiful block that was paper pieced. The fabrics used fit so will with the blocks already received. Thank you, JoAnn, for the lovely block and for being my April partner!

I gave you the square in square block, the first/top block you posted. I really like the last one with the ladies in center. What fun that one is. Glad you like it.
