OK dotcom...here are my beautiful Chocolate stars! What a pretty quilt this is going to be!

It will probably be rearranged when I get ready to sandwich it!

So sorry I have gotten behind on my blocks, I still have to get my May partner her block made and sent. Been hectic around here with my Mom in the hospital and my sister hurt her knee and can't hardly walk. So I am pulled between the two right now. But I will get them caught up as soon as I can.
Lovely blocks everyone is making. I just envy some of y'all.

Whew!! All the June partners have been assigned and posted on the Activity List. Everyone should have received a PM by now; please let me know if you did not.

PLEASE remember to abide by the "rules" posted on the Activity List, as well as communicating with your partner when you receive your block or, if by chance, your block will be late.

ENJOY the JUNE swap - make new blocks and new friends.

Thank you SOOOO much for your kind words!!! I am STILL learning the whole Paper Piecing technique, and this block shows a few of my learning steps (don't look too closely at the points, please!). It is FAR from "perfect", but I am really glad you like it!!

    Here is the picture.

Okay - Here are all of my turtle blocks & my halloween blocks:

I still need 6 turtle blocks made with turtle fabric, and 1 turtle block made in "other" ways (applique, piecing, etc) -- if you want to trade for one of these LET ME KNOW!! If not - I have turtle fabrics in the BOOM 5 swap and can use those to finish this quilt

I'm also doing the halloween swap - I'll get 24 blocks back there, so I'm pretty much done with this theme too.

So I have decided on two new themes:

    1) ANY block, shades of brown and gold. -- I will auction this finished quilt off to help my school. (our colors are brown and gold, our mascot is the Monarch (he's a lion))

    2) This block: http://www.psiquilt.com/2010/03/pinw...block-six.html with solid backgrounds (any color) and printed/patterned geese (any color). This is one of my top three block favorites.

    =)

    Anyone want some extra swaps?
