The gift I sent, definitely does not thump.

My SSee will hear Jingle Bells, when she opens the gift.

My town has both but it can't be me either. I think I was one of the ones that got my box early. It is still waiting in the spare bedroom/sewing room. Boy, I sure would like to know what is in there...........

Yeah, my SS package came. It is so hard to keep up with this thread, when I am able to pop in I spend most of my time trying to read past posts!! My SS hint, they live in the state that I long to be, with sand and surf.

Hi guys/gals. Am just dropping by for a second or two. I was away for a few days. Sunnie and I, and my Great Dane, Heidi, went to N. Carolina to deliver 25 quilts and 73 pillowcases to Owlvamp for her charities she helps out every year. These will be for Christmas, so that is why I have been so busy and not posting. Also my long arm died and is in Tennessee being repaired....again, 2nd time in less than a year. Can you say upset???? Well, while I was in N. Carolina I found another long arm. The store operator is replacing her 1 year old HQ Avante with the newest model and was looking to get rid of the "old" one. She offered me a deal I couldn't refuse, so she is shipping the "old" one to me as soon as the new one comes in around Dec. 1st. Basically, I got the computer for free. So as soon as that comes I will take the elevator out of the hole and be busy putting the new longarm together. Probably won't have time to make snickerdoodles, but you guys have enough other stuff, you will never miss them.

What a nice thing to do, to donate so many quilts and pillowcases!
I'm probably never going to be a fast quilter, even with the simple patterns.

Congrats, on your new LA! However, it's rather upsetting, to learn there will be no snickerdoodles! After you get your LA together, we expect to see snickerdoodles and more snickerdoodles!

How exciting! And what a wonderful thing to do with all the quilts you made! Just a perfect sort of thing to do during the holiday season...

I have NO IDEA why anything with "HOLE" in it sounds good? I must be tired. My box jiggles...is that good or bad? Not bells, but definately a shaking, moving noise...marbles? Candy? Mouse pellets? One wonders...
