I like them both too. The bright one I love but the tan one I'd use more. You're very talented Ube.

I too love them both... but again the tan one really goes with my colour scheme!

Hugs

I love both of the runners, Ube, but the tan one would be my first choice.

Seems so far I'm the odd man out, lol...
Aww Caroline, Sorry, The one I sent you, All that purple lol, must be an odd man out also :-)
Please feel free to pass it along to someone else. Seriously, no use keeping something in which the color doesn't agree with you, your style or scheme.
I need to get busy and finish my runner, and pm you .....
So some of you can nervously wait to see if I get your name to send a glaringly Bright jingle hoho candycane snowman wintry Christmas runner :-)
Sorry, apologize, It's late and I have a strange and wicked sense of humor at times. ha

THis is my first time on this swap and am a bit confused that M-Fay already received a runner? I thought names weren't to be given out until December. Or am I confused?

I've almost finished the runner -- just need to sandwich and quilt it. It should be finished by tomorrow and I'll PM Caroline to let her know.

Ube Quilting: I really like the taupe runner.

Ha ha! Belfrybat, nothing to worry about. That is what m-fay received in the last swap. She is in Australia and it takes a while to get through customs sometimes. She was also away from home for a while. She posted it in the current swap because we are done in the last one and no one would see it. Some times this happens when we do long distance swaps. But it is so much fun to ship around the world.

Hi Guys,

Not ignoring you all...... Just in the middle of the Indian Ocean in the Maldives at the moment!! (See pic below)

Marietta, I absolutely love what you sent....!!!

I will be back home on the 28th - so in plenty of time to organise the swap! Keep the pictures and messages coming!

ok I will have to opt out of this swap! Disastrous results with my FMQ on my runner! Driving me crazy! My practice sandwich is fine, the top of my runner looks pretty good but the back of it looks like it is going to fall apart! Grrrr! Have changed tension, tried floating and spring action both! I just don't have time to make another one! It's been one of those weeks, and its only Tuesday! I'll be back for the next one!

Northern Sue, sorry to hear of your disappointment. Can you show a picture of the quilting problem? Maybe there is an alternative. If the back is eye lashing and or the stitches not buried in the quilt, the stitching should be easy to remove and then maybe you could just do the old fashion tying method of finishing. It might be a minor set back but fixable.

Sometimes you find the way through.
