Oh my gosh. I just realized that I must not of hit "post quick reply" to the contest that I posted last week. So sorry, I was wondering why I didn't have any answers.

So with that being said I will post the contest for last week tomorrow. As I said above, my work life has consumed every part of my life.

    Opening Day......
I mailed out my ornament on Tuesday, which is going overseas, and the post office told me that expected delivery would not be till around the 24th.

To ensure that everyone has their ornaments on time I am going to make the official opening date December 3rd at 6pm Central Time. I am at a quilting retreat that weekend and won't be home till later on in the afternoon, which is the reason for the later hour.

Maybe those of us who are at church at that hour could go ahead and open in the afternoon and post our pics....

My ornament went in the mail Thursday 11/9/17 as it has a LONG way to go over the big pond.

What a nice gift Anoka Quilter. Thanks for giving us lots to do until the opening day. Are there many who have their ornaments already?

I have received my ornament package... Waiting patiently.

My package to my partner has flown, as well. Just waiting for 12/3!

Great ornaments sewbizgirl. I have done the candy cane ones before. They are so much fun to make. A couple years ago my Grandson helped me make a few, he was 11 at the time, and he had a blast doing them.

That angel is familiar as I bought the pattern from Annie's e-patterns. I also bought the moose pattern. :-)

I am a little behind with posting on the board. I received my ornament a couple of days ago (I did let Anoka know straight away). So thank you to my swapper, it is sitting on the dining table awaiting the opening day.

still waiting here---postman delivered some packages yesterday and today but none was from my ornament swap person. yesterday was the big box of xmas gifts i ordered for some of the family, today one package was for my daughter and other two were the personalized music boxes i bought for the two youngest granddaughters for Xmas this year ( i bought the older three music boxes last year--each box is different). i want them all to have something real special for remembrance in years to come

That sounds so sweet roseirish. I love music boxes and have a few from friends and relatives.

Your little lollipops and cute sewbizgirl.
