But, honestly, I would rather send early than to be late and holding up the group.
I mailed yesterday (Tuesday) and now I see it is Nov. 1. I know some international mail is taking 4 weeks to arrive so I guess I jumped the gun.
I printed off a CN22 form from the internet and the post office would not accept it so I had to come home and fill out the form handed to me so I won't do that again.
Sorry I did not follow the rules.

Bullock, I'm like you...just figuring out what I want to do and still need to pick up a few things! As long as we get it done by the mailing date I guess we are good!

I don't think it's supposed to be a race. I'm taking my merry old sweet time, and plan to mail it out after November 1st... no rush

I finally have mine made. It was something I never made before, so I learned something new! And I also made more for my crafts sale since I thought it was so cool.
Yesterday I had to go to the paper supply store to get a box of the right size, so I'll be ready to mail next week, after the 1st since I have to wait for payday!

Any opening day is fine with me. Does it have to be on a weekend? Thanksgiving is so early this year, could it be December 1 for opening. We could always put the ornament on the tree and then tell about it on the given opening day. I sometimes have a hard time waiting, too.

All of you who have your ornaments done, already, would you show us some pictures please. Last year there were pictures every day for a few weeks. I miss them.

Trish, no one would know the dif if you opened early and then showed and thanked on the opening day....

I have mine done, finished this morning, I just have to add a few extras that I will make some of. I think posting pictures of finished ornaments might spoil it. Pictures are usually posted after the ornaments are received.

My ornaments are the whistling kind, although mine don't whistle. We don't have the same winter birds here in Australia.

Mine is all done and in it's package to mail off. I just love this swap. I have been on google search looking anyway at ornaments ... LOL! I even bought a pattern today of santa and his reindeer ornaments from the ninties. So cute! Looks kind of like the santa I grew up with.
I know what you mean trish b, I love seeing the ornaments.
