Oh wow! Look at you almost ready to post already sewbizgirl! I really love the redwork and gingerbread ornaments too. How cute!
I was playing with the embroidery machine today making a house mouse ornie. I have to stop playing around and get done too. I am just having too much fun. LOL!

I packaged mine, but you guys are right about them being addictive. I think I’m going to wait on sending the 2 I made & one little gift & make at least another one. It’s not like there’s not enough time. I have to go shopping tomorrow for my Secret Santa partner & if I can find a couple of other supplies cheap enough I’m definitely going to make at least one more ornament for this swap.

roseirish, your cross stitch items are always so lovely, I remember seeing many from past swaps. Now I'm going to have "12 Days of Christmas" running thru my head today!

Have fun look at all the wonderful ornaments. Maybe next year you will have to join us.

Gave myself a gift of a clean sewing room today. All there is left to do is vacuum and dust. Thank goodness! I hate a big mess in the sewing room while I am quilting. I have two maybe three full sized quilts to quilt and finish up before Christmas and I will be done with the homemade gifts for this year. I hope to finish up in a couple weeks. Crossing fingers nothing else comes up to foul up my plans. I really want to gift these this year.

I wrapped the swap ornaments and little gifts and signed the card today. So it is ready to mail when it is time. I am not sharing pictures this year because I want it to be a surprise and I know she has a camera. LOL!

I have an quilting retreat weekend to go to in November and we have to take a Christmas ornament for the tree,
(the ornament is retained by the group for future years). Previously we made bunting every year but we have filled the areas to hang it so we have moved on to a tree to decorate. Ornaments are signed with our name and year. Here is a pic of the one I made last night.

My surgery is not going to be until after the retreat and my husband is going to drive me and help set up my machine etc. so that I won't have to do any lifting. It is a great retreat and I was disappointed that I may have missed it, but now I don't have to. Hopefully I will mange the whole weekend, if not my husband will come for me.

Betty, love your satin stocking ornament. So pretty! I hope your back is manageable so you can enjoy your retreat.
