Cuppy
so glad it made it to you. I always like to put a little something from Ireland in.

I also am glad to hear of the good progress your hubby is making, betty. I hope you brought some hand work to help pass the time. I am sure all of your family are so relieved and feel blessed to have him still with you.

Girls I am so excited to see all of the beautiful ornaments still being posted. I think this has been the best dog-gone year for amazing work. I know I love mine. I look at them every time I pass the tree.

Julz - how did you make that flower fairy? I know someone who would love something similar next year...
You can find out how to make basic flower fairies by searching just that in YouTube or Google. There’s a gal that shows you how to do the basic flower fairy body & then goes into more elaborate types in later videos. She even does mermaids. All they are are shaped floral wire wrapped with embroidery floss with a wooden bead for a head & silk/plastic flower petals for skirts. They’re pretty easy & fun to make. It’s the wings that can be a little harder & can be quite varied from simple ones like I made, others made from flower petals or fabric meshing or elaborate ones made from wire & special plastics that metal beautifully. Let me see if I can find the link & list it here... okay. It’s listed as “DIY flower fairy doll”. The link below is for a mobile device though. I think you can remove the “m” at the beginning & go to it though.

Happy crafting,

Wanted to thank TexasTam for my lovely turtle ornaments. She completely blessed me with the "turtle" package.
She wrapped everything in batting, which I love.

Well crud, I never thought about wrapping anything in batting. That is a fantastic idea. Who doesn't need small pieces for small projects. Adorable ornaments too.

ohh all the ornaments are fabulous. so creative. how lucky are we.

i came across an ornament tutorial on instagram yesterday and i can't wait to make one. Do a search on google for Geta's Quilting Studio and look for a tutorial called fabric star ornament. It looks so easy and I love the look of it.
