Ok, then that is what it will be. Each block is different fabric, using those scraps, but all are i the sam color pallet. Yep, it will be pretty when done. It is the first time I have made these blocks. Lots of Y seams, but worth the effort.

I'm making progress but it's going slower than expected which is frustrating for me. Funny how a seemingly (or seamingly - pun intended) simple block like the log cabin can take so much time. For the layout I drafted, I am making 120 LC blocks. Whew!!! Stitch, press, square up. Stitch, press, square up. . . Is that anything like lather, rinse, repeat??? lol

I'm having trouble posting pictures, otherwise I'd share my (slow) progress with the group.

I'm still stitching away. . .

Sorry I have been MIA. I had two brain surgeries this month but think I am back :) My quilt for my partner is officially on it's way to be quilted :)
Hugs

Wow, Iz, hugs to you with your surgeries - and kudos for getting the quilt done and to the quilter. I can imagine the problems you might have had with your quilt in the beginning. Hopefully all the headaches and such are over with the head surgeries and the problems with piecing the quilt are also done.

Many hugs, good thoughts and healing vibes coming your way, April. Take it slow and easy for a while, ok?

How nice to have today off. I am at work trying to stay focused. The sun is shining so pretty. You better have all kinds of fun sewing today for all of us who have to work.
