My birthday wishes will be going in the mail Tomorrow for the April Birthdays. I hope all had a great Easter. Mine was quiet. We had a small family dinner. Nice to not have all the family drama that sometimes happens when you have such a large family as my husbands. There is ten children and someone is always feuding with another.
On a lighter note, I am trying to design my own crochet chart/graph. Its not as easy as it looks. |

Wow I am all caught up on the posts. Glad to see all the candies are coming in for the birthday girls.
When it is your turn I like when there is a running list of who you have received from. It makes it easier for me (and everyone else) to keep track of who you are waiting on. So make sure when it is your turn that you make a list like BjSmith did (alphabetical is nice not necessary) or Sunrise450. Just copy and paste your last list and then add to the bottom your list the new swappers that you received from. Also don't forget to do the feedback. This is very important for us to get into other swaps if we want to. As the hostess I would not take anyone in this swap that had negative feed back. Carry on ladies you are doing great. Two more arrived in yesterday's mail. This is so much fun! I am still waiting for my birthday to open. Today I have to cut polka dot 5" charms. My company left early this morning so I can get back to my regular routine. We had a wonderful visit but I am so glad I can go downstairs now to my sewing room and lose myself.

We had a meet up in Phoenix today. Met at SAS Fabric Warehouse where we all found great bargains. Then off to lunch - and we couldn't stop talking!!

It was such fun yesterday! It's great to meet other AZ quilting board members! We talked and talked, quilts, family, fabric! A great time, and we all agreed to keep in touch and get together in the future!

Very fun day yesterday! Thank you ladies for taking the time to get together! I will post pics of my granny square quilt which is a great use for our candies. Check out the tutorial on that page. It would be more scrappy because you would have to use different fabrics in each color for the rounds. I will post a pic when I get to my computer.

Good morning Sunday! This certainly has been a busy week for me. I am using today to finish up. I have another swap to complete, mailing date is tomorrow, then to complete the rest of the birthday cards.
Then I am free to do what ever. This is my 81st birthday and I'm feeling the need to slow down a bit. Just a little bit. LOL! Here is the update of birthday cards received. Omgosh! This is a great idea. I’ve spent most of today cleaning up my sewing room which includes sorting scraps and candy squares. I could absolutely do this with what I have on hand. Thank you for sharing this idea.
