Last one of my candies sent out today.
Did all my feedback too. Sorry it took me so long getting it done. |
When I use "Quick Reply", there is no box above the typing field. When I go into the "Go Advanced" method, there still isn't a box for typing options. What am I missing?

Here are my Step 1 rows.
I had to try out your instructions on changing the writing Sewbizgirl. :p I never knew I could do this! |
Looking forward to getting Clue #2 tomorrow. Hope we get it early so I can take it to a group sew and work on it. Please, please "Happy Dance"

There is also the option of manually entering the coding. If you want italics, type [i ] (without the space) at the beginning of the text that you want to italicize, and at the end type [/i ] (again without the space.) Putting u in the square brackets gives you underlining, and b gives you boldface. The Standard Editor mode will also let you change text size, or make it pretty colors. |

After that you should see the full options at the top of your reply field, including the little tree in a picture frame for uploading pictures from your computer. |
Yes, forgot about the "save changes" button!
|
JuanitaBean, thanks for the feedback! :-)
Jennr8r, Great stack of threesies, lookin' good! Also, you can highlight the text you want to change with your mouse, and then click the icon in the menu for what you want the text to be changed into. |

I can't post pics from my Iphone. I don't think this website is set up to accept them. ??? I have to download pics from my phone to my computer, then shrink them down to about 25% of their size, and then I can upload them to the QB. It would be so nice if we could just zap them over from our phones. |

Here is a quilt I made from Last years candies. Thought I would share.
|
I thought this was the one that was finished need to find it.
|
Good morning. I'm almost done with Part 1 of the mystery. Only need to add the 3rd block to 60 strips and I'll be caught up. I'll post a pic then. :)
|
Gorgeous Arkansas Crossroads, JuanitaBean! Love that pattern...
|
Hopefully here are my step one rows.
|
It didn't work, Ha!Ha! can you tell?
I sent from my IPad to myself then didn't know what to do, Hmmm can you tell? I am really tired of this so will try again later. Not tired so much as P.O. slapping hand now. |

I email them to myself, then post them from PC, the phone would be way easier. Although, my good camera takes much better pics, so I'm usually happier taking them with that and bypassing the phone...

Sunrise, do you have the bar of icons at the top of your ‘quick reply’ field? If so, click on the little picture in a frame... the third ico to the right of the smiley. Then follow prompts to find a picture on your computer and upload it.
If you do not have the bar of icons, you need to change your settings to get them. Go to “settings”, then on the left side scroll down to “general settings”, and then scroll down to “miscellaneous options “ and make then click on “enhanced interface “. Then click “save settings “. Then you should have the picture option in your reply field... |
You also need to make sure and resize photos. If they are too large the site won't accept them.
|
JuanitBean - love the quilt, very pretty! Thanks for posting. I found the block you made from the candies I sent you - wasn't too hard with the Rosie fabric (Keep on Quilting). :) Nice idea to group the charms into blocks by who gave them to you! Mine are all mixed up in a bin....
About taking photos - I found it easier to use my regular digital camera instead of my phone. I download to my computer, resize, then I can upload by choosing the "Go Advanced" option on my Reply to thread screen. |
Just checking, thought we were suppose to get new clue this morning....have I got my days mixed up?
|
I read in 2 different places the directions could be posted today or tomorrow. I guess it could be tomorrow.

Caught up just in time! Finished the last ones just a few minutes ago. I’m out of town but brought my supplies with me. Had some trouble with my little portable machine’s tension so I had to play with that for a while. Anyway, I’m very happy with the strips. I might end up changing out a couple of the lighter medium squares for darker ones, we’ll see. Here they are, unpressed and messy but done! Bring on part 2!
