I have a question? Is anyone planning on doing some applique? I was thinking of making a few blocks in applique since I am practicing my skills on these blocks. I haven't quilted in nearly 15 years and am finding my skill returning as I work on your blocks. Hope everyone loves them as much as I do. The first batch are being mailed out soon and I will send the names as soon as I have sent them. Already have 5 completed and working on 2 more now. Hope to have about 10 done by end of this weekend.

Hi everyone. Just want to update. I finally decided on some fabrics to send out to some of you. I am going to put together some kids quilts for a family crisis center. I am so excited.....i did not realize how much prepping goes into sending out my fabrics I have quiet a few now ready to be mailed out in the am....

I do still have to decide on the rest of my fabrics....

Sme of you are Posting your blocks "secretly" under your names or blog or something liking that.
Wouldn't it be much more fun if they were posted on the main thread so we all can see them and not have to 'search' for them. I would prefer that.
I sent out about about 12 or 15 blocks about a week or so ago and have seen only a few of them posted.
That's a lot of the fun - seeing the pictures.
What do you think?

I'm going to try to do some pics this weekend.

I'm sewing tomorrow but have to finish my niece's quilt first before moving on to the Winter blocks. Soon, I will send some out! I've been looking at patterns.

Im mailing blocks to Janecat, Peggy Reilly (absolutely loved your F8) PaintmeJudy, moonrise, and Kathy Nelson. They have my F8 in the envelope also. Will post pictures on my link so dont look if you want to be surprised. Sprint is acting crazy so I will post JaneCats and Peggy later .

I mailed all my fabric today, Gosh it was so exspensive. $2.06 for each of the USA, $5 for international. I am in 2 large groups.

Here are a few of the beautiful blocks I have received today. These blocks are going into a quilt for my aunt in northern NH and she loves that colonial style print. Even without knowing what everyone else is making, when I line those darn blocks up a beautiful patchwork style quilt is created. She will absolutely love it!

Here is the last block I received today. This is the fall printed fabric I sent out to just 10 lucky stitchers. This will become a lap/couch snuggler for my mom.

Cyndi H said this is called Louisiana. So I'm thinking Louisiana Star? Sounds good to me. Matches perfectly with the other I received this week.
