Wow! Bonanza mail delivery yesterday!
Received blocks from GOLDENDOG JENNIFER22206 MOONRISE PEGGERSS They all are wonderful, thank you so much. If you could, please post pictures of your blocks - camera cord is packed in the garage and just found out the wood floors won't be laid for maybe 3 weeks! It is backordered so who knows when it will get here. But at least they found the leak! F8s received from OK DARLA GOLDENDOG JENNIFER22206 BABYFIRE04 Look forward to getting started on making blocks. Been a bit confusing around here lately and I'm trying to find time to sew but it seems impossible to concentrate with all the banging going on. Got 4 blocks mailed yesterday. |

I use the sticky Press 'n Seal, but sometimes there are lumps from seam junctions that just make the envelope too thick. Our postmaster (who's my next-door-neighbor) uses the little template that you slide the envelope through, and if it hangs up then he recommends adding the extra .20. It's all based on the weight first (and they all weight less than an ounce) and then the thickness. I use the legal sized envelopes. Oh boy! I got a phone call from the specialists office telling me they had to change my appointment on the 25th of this month to November 17th as they just found out the doctor has a meeting on the 25th. My neuro-op wanted it even before the October 25th and I about had a nervous breakdown when talking to the lady. I said I cannot keep living in this level of pain and vision issue. She said well we can see you in our NY office (my appointment is in CT) and I said for whatever reason your NY office is not participating with my insurance only your CT one is so I have to come to CT. She said well I can put you on a wait list if someone cancels and then tells me oh wait I had someone cancel tomorrow morning at 8..do you want that one?? GRRRR really I was practically in tears and then she tells me that? I said of course I want it so I told my boss I am changing the day and hopefully we will be on the path to answers a little sooner than we had thought! Keeping my fingers, toes & eyes crossed.

april-- so glad you are seeing the dr so soon! good luck! however, i feel i must butt in and tell you, you will have a lot fewer vision problems if you un-cross your eyes. just saying....<3

I feel like such a slacker!
I have got all my f8's out this week (Tuesday). I have all my received f8's recorded on my log along with their description and in their own gallon baggies. I have a "pattern" assigned to almost all of them (think I'm going to use just 3 or 4 patterns this time). I have 95% of all my coordinating fabrics pulled and put with the f8's. NOT ONE thing cut or sewn yet...in fact my sewing machine is still in the sewing room (lol, I generally end up sewing on the dining room table so I'm not "all alone").) This group sure is a super turn around bunch. I feel so "slacky" and promise to get a few out next week. |

yes, i am on THE list! i have my fabric packaged , stamped, addressed, and needing a little note of hints. i'm doing a girlie quilt this time so would like pastels and cream. don't worry, i'll write the note so you don't have to remember i posted that. my husband does the printing at work and there's the hold up!lol. sometimes it takes a woman to do a man's job! but they won't let me in without him. very hush hush work. oooooo......
