I've started designing something for Quilty-Louise. It will involve flowers and butterflies and dragonflies and will have yellow roses and many shades of purple. And that's all I can say at the moment because it's all in my head and not on paper yet. But it will have some paper pieced blocks and some appliqued cause I can't help myself! Oh yes, I think it's going to be a table mat -- the jury is still out on round or hexagonal. Is that a word?

I hate I ended up missing this one, but it's for the best. I made it back from California, worked 1 day, and have been down with the H1N1/swine flu ever since. I just went back to work today. There was a lady behind me on the plane back who was hacking up a lung, and I'm thinking it was probably her that infected me. Of course, the next day, the man started with it too.

I'm going to love watching you folks post your pretties though!

Ha! It's a certain type of flower. When I do the "real" one, I'm going to use all purples for the top petals and all yellows for the bottom, or vice versa. It DOES look a lot like the butterfly I made, which was yellow and orange and my DH thought (pre-antenna) was a chicken.

I sewed on mine yesterday and a little today, got it all quilted and just have a little bit more binding to sew and I'll be ready to send.

My top of my table runner is done, and I have the backing ready too. I'll be able to quilt it this weekend. Here's a sneak peak of one portion of it.

I can't believe all the 'cat ladies' we have on here! Lol. I am highly allergic to them so I have to stay far far away. But I do LOVE love love my mini Yorkie, Gabby. But there isn't many fabrics out there with Yorkies on it, all I seem to find are Scottie's. If anyone runs across any with Yorkies on it please LMK.

I looked at our local independent fabric store and the chain store, too, and they each several dog prints, but nothing Yorkie specific. Unless maybe the fabric covered with paw prints were actually Yorkie prints???

I have been quilting today! The table runner for Ljdudas is almost done. I just have to make and attach the binding.

Just popping in to say I'm still kicking. We have the plague floating through the house. A man with a cold and a toddler with a cold is like battling an entire army with a box of tissues. Send in reinforcements lol. I have all my fabric picked and cut just need some time in front of my machine which is hard right now.

OMG! I feel for you. An adult man with a cold can be 5x the handful as 1 toddler. Hope everyones better soon.
