Haha waterfront property is the kitchen sink full of dirty dishes.

blondeslave 11-14-2013 05:50 AM

Ooh, how interesting. It appears my SS is a fan of low-riders too.

Dedemac 11-14-2013 07:20 AM

Just checked tracking last night, not quite there yet, but why did it go west to go east???? My package wanted to rack up thoes frequent flyer points!

skaduzy 11-14-2013 07:25 AM

My package is in the dining room on the table.....out of sight...out of mind....NOT.
It came from Paducah.....now the question is.....does she live in Paducah, was she visiting Paducah and just mailed from there?
I am getting excited because there are two packages and they are calling to me....open me, open me! :p

rwquilts 11-14-2013 07:33 AM

It's fun to see how packages are making their way across the country and elsewhere! :) I forgot to take pics and since my Santee recipient neither posted that she received and has only make one post in this entire thread, I doubt whether she will post when it's opening day...oh well...I made a bunch of fun things that I would love, so hopefully she'll enjoy what I sent her? I haven't received my package yet, but there's still lots of time for it's much anticipated arrival...I've also been in the Christmas Spirit and just got through making 18 mug rugs for family...now on to the next project! :)

grann of 6 11-14-2013 08:00 AM

My SS package just arrived. I will sit it on my antique sewing machine so I can admire it every time I walk by. Now back to the grindstone.

....

Maybe we'll just grab your foot, as you fly past us . . . and cause you to drop all that whine! :D

Quick, quick! Someone needs to help me pile up some fabric and other soft stuff, so the falling whine will have a safe landing!

Sdwill 11-14-2013 09:08 AM

I received my SS package today. The return label says it came from the northeast. I'm lucky enought to work on the same mail route as I live and work comes before my house so the mail carrier leaves all my packages here at work. Actually I think she leaves them here because she doesn't want to drive up to the house. :) So I have stashed my box up under my desk so it is out of sight and out of mind.

I was running late, so my package going out just went out today. But hey, it's deadline day!

nygal 11-14-2013 09:32 AM

I guess I didn't know we were to take a photo of what we put in our SS box. I remember the items in my head tho...does that count?

No package for me here yet either. But I have patience.:)

Oh Cindy, here's another one of your generic hints for the day. We want you to tell us just what state & city your SS package is traveling to & maybe even a hint of their name!! Is that to much to ask of you? Oh Well.........you can't blame a naughty girl for trying, now can you? Back down in the hole with me!!
:D :D :D :D

Hee-Hee...........I wouldn't have thought of this, but you just posted a good one & the clue will fit everyone on this Quilting Board!! Good for You!!
:D :D :D :D

My Goodness looks like the USPS Santa is going to be working overtime with all these packages winging their way to their destinations. I was able to get my package out yesterday while I was in the area. I got pictures of most my outboand goodies. I was still wrapping this and that while at the post office. I do know that I have alot in common with my receiver so that was almost like send a package to me. :D :D

So be stalk....watching those mailboxes.

Tricia

Judith1005 11-14-2013 09:56 AM

I hope my SSP will be able to post photos also. I was so worried about everything fitting in the box that I forgot to take photos. However, I did take photos of the Handmade items. I like to keep a log of everything I send out and where it went. Sometimes, I have a hard time getting photobucket to cooperate. But, usually in the end I can get my photos posted. So Secret Santa, I will be posting photos. I had to move that box out of my line of site. Otherwise, I would probably let my 3 little troublemakers (Fur Doggys) help me out with being a naughty SSP. I'm going with the out of site, out of mind thing right now. :) The anticipation is half the fun.:D

Ronda...............Don't despair, as I am sure your SS recipient is occasionally checking this thread to see what is going on. If it would make you feel better, I can take a few pictures of my stash & post them for you to see!! :D We can play pretend!! :D How about a picture of those 18 mug rugs that you just finished for your family? I love to make mug rugs too & always love to see another person's work. Have a Great Day!!
:D :D :D :D

Pat625 11-14-2013 11:17 AM

My package was sent out today--just at the deadline. It is heading to an area that I think was known for the Civil War.

I got a good chuckle out of your post! Actually, what would really make me feel better (not that I'm feeling badly) is instead of pics of your stash, hows about I just whip on over and "borrow" some stash fabrics from you? :D:D:D Tis the season to be giving...fa la la la la...la la la la!

Here's a picture of a couple of the mug rugs...I used selvages and made up a cute poem to go with them.

Belfrybat 11-14-2013 12:39 PM

Whew! Just got in under the wire. My package is heading for the NE to a state that is fairly large and borders a huge lake. It should arrive Monday.

quilt addict 11-14-2013 12:44 PM

Well package is in the mail!!!! It is going a long ways across the country to a recipient and her fur babies.

Thats all the hint you will get today.

I'm still trying to catch up on the posts, at least I am to the same week now.

Wonnie 11-14-2013 01:46 PM

So excited!!! Santa left me a package today. It rattles!

Neesie 11-14-2013 01:49 PM

All of these last-minute mailings are pretty exciting, since my SS package hasn't arrived yet (haven't checked the mailbox yet, today)! I'm betting the last mailed ones will be the BEST OF ALL!!! :) :) Am I reading my SS's posts and not even realizing it's her? Is it someone who's been teasing us, all along? THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!! :D   :)

Ronda, your mug rugs are cute as a button; I'm sure everyone will love them!

blondeslave 11-14-2013 02:36 PM

Okay, now that I'm here what did I miss? There's no way I'll ever get caught up. If only my job didn't suck up so much of my time but apparently the hounds insist on eating. Who has been naughty and is in trouble? How much of other peoples quilting stash has been procured? How many beverages have been consumed? Have to make as much of the time left as I can. Unfortunately our busiest time in the year at work is the beginning of October through mid November but I should be able to pop in regularly now. Tell me EVERYTHING! Oh if my SS has been leaving clues for me I am sorry please try again.

You mentioned you thought your package was being sent to an area known for the Civil War. I was going by the majority of battles fought during this time which was in the state of Virginia.

debbieoh 11-14-2013 03:41 PM

I'm so sorry I forgot to let you know I recieved my package this week. Also I sent my out also and my person recieved it today according to my delivery confirmation number. As soon as my package arrived I gave it to my hubby to hide from me. I have no control. I didn't even notice the name of the person who sent it just seen secret santa. LOL!!!

debbieoh 11-14-2013 03:46 PM
