I am not currently at home (will be back after Thanksgiving) but hubby called to tell me I had received my pkg from my ss in San Diego, Ca...that is my original home state (east of LA)...thank you ss! Can't wait till Dec. 8 & opening day!!!
Still waiting to hear my pkg I sent is received...confirmed received on Fri. At least I know that much. She must be busy, like I have been, as she does post occassionally on here but has not posted lately. I understand..............:)

Yippee Yi Yay! I received my Secret Santa Package Today! A big package, DH went to post office today to pick it up! I will not open until Dec. 8! Thank you!

ss package rec'd on Friday. now residing in my bedroom taunting me til opening day. least ways our reveal date is early then other ss swap i am in. there are 12 gifts for the 12 days of Xmas and we start opening one per day starting 12/12/13. My box for that swap arrived on Friday also. talk about temptation!

Nice try there!! :D I also wish it were Dec. 8th as this waiting is like torture to me too. My SS box is sitting on my table, just so I can see it every time I walk by. I do believe it has been trying to talk to me too!! :D It sounds like little scratching noise's coming from inside. If there is a baby kitty in there, I hope my SS left plenty of food & water for her!! My little Rosie can hear it too & it is driving her crazy. Oh how exciting just waiting to see what might be in there!!

I just got home from 3 days away...for work...after greeting the dog...had to check to see if the package was OK and that the dog and grandbaby didn't help me by opening it. Darn, they didn't touch it!
I will not be with you for opening...but will open that night when I get home.

Wow, looks like everyone is getting their packages...what fun! At least I'm not alone with the gnawing temptation. I did hide it in a drawer to take away some of the angst of wanting to open it and it's working so far. But we still have a few weeks to go, yikes!

I noticed an odd corner on MY SS package too! I know it's my teenager looking for candy. Once someone sent me a bunch of candy and I made the mistake of sharing it. I am not in the least bit tempted AT ALL...I have hidden it from myself behind the bookshelf. Dear ladies remind me where it is when the time comes! (One of those who hides stuff for safe keeping never to be found again.) Between this and another swap I am in, this is my only Christmas, so am happy to be patient.

No Cindy, NO! We will have to have a duel of the Super Deluxes and may the best witch win! LOL! Oh wait just ordered a new TURBO for my super deluxe. hehehehehe

Dang! Gran of 6, that is aweful!!! What macine do you have? I had that happen to me at my busiest time last year about now. I bought a Babylock Tiara as a back up and thank God, I had her here to save my butt! Sounds like you have an eventful day on the 8th, Miss Artist! LOL! Congrats! Well, with all these boxes staring at us, the wait is on! It makes me smile, curious, stop & shake every once in awhile just to hear it jingle. It's a joy to know a fellow quilter took the time to do something so special just for me! It was my best present last year & I suspect again this year. But the wait is going to kill me! But wait, I must, just like the rest of the Santas!

I have a Husqvarna Viking Mega Quilter 18/8, but I am going to get something else so I am not in this position again. And now than I am an "Artiste" I can't afford to be without a longarm for 3 months at a time. I don't use my living room anyway, so may as well put a bigger one in there.

Whoopeee!!!! Hubby just came home from the post office with a box from my SS. Can't wait until the 8th.

I received a package from Santa today--thank you whoever you may be. I was tempted to follow the tracking number back to the sender, but decided against it. I'll be patient and let myself be surprised on opening day.

My SS pkg arrived today in the mail. WHEEEEEE, now to wait.

my SS put an address on hers. HMMMM do ya think it is the right one? Maybe, we shall see when it comes time to open it.

If your Secret Santa is as sneaky as mine, it probably isn't the right address. It seems that my Secret Santa listed an address for one state but then the postage was listed from a different state. These SS can be sneaky, that's for sure. Won't it be fun to see just who they are, at reveal time? I haven't a clue as to mine, so I can hardly wait!!

Today while I was out, Santa was here and left a big package addressed to me. Oh, happy day! Thank you, secret santa.

Oh the wait... I am still at work and can't check if there is anything for me at home:(. 2 more hours with luck I'll be doing the happy dance!

Over the weekend I was at an Exotic Bird Expo, so during the day
I wasn't home (of course).

My box came in on Saturday, and I posted that I got it and sent a
pm to Terri.

Sunday my brother and his wife was coming to see my hubs so he
could work on their computer and of course they KNEW I was going
to be gone.

My SS box was sitting on my desk, so Carrie (my sil) asked my hubs
what was in the box. The conversation went something like this:
Hubs - oh that is her secret santa gift.
Carrie - well she must not be to interested in it since she hasn't even
opened it yet.
Hubs - Oh she is VERY interested and it is killing her to have to wait.
Carrie - why does she have to wait?
Hubs - Because that is part of the swap fun when there is a "scheduled"
opening day so everyone can have fun at the same time.
Carrie - well that is just dumb.

My hubs and Mel (my brother), went outside to look at something on
hubs Jeep. Than they left.

When I got home about 4pm I sat down at my desk and noticed my SS
box was not there. I asked hubs what he did with it. he said nothing it is
on my desk. Then he walks over and said well it was there.

After much searching I found the box under my desk and it had been
OPENED but the flaps folded/tucked. To say I was VERY mad would be
a major understatement.

I called her today and told her that if she can't RESPECT my privacy and
a SEALED box with MY name on it that I didn't want her coming to my home
anymore.

Later I get a call from my brother wanting to know what my major malfuction
was with Carrie. When I told him what happened to my SS box he was not a
happy person with his wife.

She used to not be like that. Don't know what her problem is but I may not
forgive her for a long time.

I DO want to let my SS know that I did not look in the box, but handed it to
hubs and asked him to tape it back up and HIDE it for me. Since it is obvious
that it is not same on my desk.

Just got back from getting a flu shot and a few things from WM . . . and checked the mailbox, on my way in. There, in my mailbox, sat a big box!!! :) :) :) Thank you, Secret Santa!!! The really weird thing is . . . whoever she is, she lives IN MY HOUSE!!! :shock: Yes! She apparently has the very same address, as I have! :eek: Anyway, I shook the box and something moved! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! THANK YOU, WHOEVER YOU ARE! :) :) :) :) :) :)

WOW...she should not just go to the hole, but a super pit!!! But then again, if she has a problem, maybe she should be pitied ....or join us for the fun?

Why in the world would she do a thing like that???? It did not have her name on it so what the heck was she thinking??? Didn't she realize that there would be repurcussions for her stupidity?

I'm glad you got it taped up again and hidden from site so it'll be nice surprise when Dec. 8 rolls around.

I need to let my SS know that I haven't posted about getting my package because I am out of town. I called my post mistress to check & see if it was there & IT IS!! She is holding all my mail til I get home the first week of December so it's safe & sound & not tempting me.

That is terrible Quilty-Louise. I had an employee that would look at EVERYTHING on my desk. So one day, I put a folded up note on my desk. Yep, she opened it and looked at it. It said, "if you are reading this, it is none of yor business." Keep your hands off my personal property." That pretty much took care of it. I don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate.

Wow! That is terrible. Maybe she does have something wrong. As some of you know but don't remember, I got my ss package very early and I have to brag.............I haven't opened it or even thought about it too often. If I start to think about it then I wonder what is inside and who sent it. My ss did a very good job and it is really sealed very well. I wonder what she sent? Hmmmmm... well, I'm being good and am not going to look..............
