I'll toast to all of you who are "whining" because I am doing the HAPPY DANCE. My package just arrived today all the way from the northeast corner to the northwest corner of the U.S. Maine to Washington! Oh thank you Secret Santa. Now, where to put this so it's out of sight and out of mind? Hmmm. Like that's going to happen. NOT!

But for my Secret Santa your boxes arrived - not sure what day though as my son knows all about Secret Santa ( from past years) so when they came he put them aside for me and forgot to mention it to me for a few days !!! ( Darn kid- how can I shake, rattle and roll my boxes !!!) Just so you know they came at a perfect time to cheer me up after a bad day .... they really brightened my day :) THANK YOU !!! I don't even have to know what I got , just receiving them cheered me immensely

woke up this morning to get my coffee and on the table was a beautiful red box ,boy that really woke me up I guess it most have been traveling some since got my zip code number wrong but thank santa it finally made it way to me ,it,s pretty heavy I like that lol,thank you so much secret santa bless your heart

Today has been a great day. DH was kind enough to change all of his plans in order for me to attend a sit and sew today. I then get home to not only find that he has kept the house just as tidy as it was when I left and there is a large box on the table for me. My SS package arrived. It is from a state that I know some people in. Maybe just maybe I know who my SS is? Not going to give it away I just wait and see. Also, it must be stuffed full cuz when I shook it no noise.

Hazel B and I have both received our SS boxes :D and we have mailed our boxes out... recipients should receive them shortly if not sooner :D

Morning all! It looks like Santa was working his magic yesterday as a lot of packages got delivered. WOOHOO! There shouldn't be but a couple MIA's now, but you should have them in the next couple of days. Just think, it's less time to stare, shake, rattle, stare at you! We're just under 3 weeks to opening day. These packages are going to tempt us into opening early, but don't fall to the temptation! Believe me! It's worth the wait!! Just enjoy each others company down in the naughty hole, have a few cocktails, eat some goodies & guess whats in those boxes!

Today's hint: you must like to shop at Walmart, 'cuz there's one not far from you.

My grandsons 2nd birthday party is Dec 8th. I may not be able to open with you all. But won't it be fun for me to open my present the same day he is opening presents? :thumbup:

Oh Thank you ,Secret Santa! I have rattled, shook and looked for holes in the tape. Alas, I found a spot where the tape did not cover completely! As I was sniffing the tapeless spot, up came my furbaby Lucy and she helped me sniff! Then she started to paw at it gently...at first! Then Lil Tuut came to offer assistance. Just as we were making progress, in walks the big mean DH, "What in the world are you doing?" We all looked up from the box with our most innocent looks and said "Nothing".

Well, you guys will have to have your fun on opening day without me. I have put some quilts in a consignment boutique that has just opened up near me in an upscale shopping area. They are having a "Meet the Artist" gathering on Dec. 8th from 4 till 8, so I have to go to that. If I can sell some of my quilts at a goodly price, I will be able to afford (and justify) a new longarm. The one I have now dropped dead AGAIN 2 weeks ago and has returned to the factory for repair. My confidence in the machine is at a new low. Back to the rock in the corner of the hole I go.

Wow! Lots of packages being delivered! How fun! I'm still waiting, but surely my package will be winging it's way to me soon...DH & I are taking a mini trip to a favorite town and a fun B & B for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, so I won't be able to check to see if my package arrives until Wednesday...hope I have something fun in the mail when I get home! :):):)

I'm also still waiting, so am thinking my SS must be someone who just mailed, recently. That means she must have thought long and hard, about what to put into it . . . which means it must be extra special! :) :) :) :) :) That's gonna make it even harder to resist ripping into it, as soon as it arrives! :D

Hi all! We are having 80 degree weather today,I'm ready for some cool weather.
I see we are opening our packages on the 8th of Dec,that will be double fun for me because my birthday is the 8th.

Hope this is the only way I see snow ever again!! The day I moved, it was snowing heavily, and I left a snow shovel at the door for the new owners! Right now it's 82. trying to keep the air off, to save money. The low is supposed to be 70

FYI, I have sent out my SS package and received my package a week or so ago. I got distracted with work, making other quilt blocks, 2 new puppies (which have really taken most of my free time). Sorry for not posting earlier. I plan on opening the package when everyone else does and posting on the board.

Generally I hate the add that scroll across the top and bottom of the board but tonight I saw one that really piqued my interest.
