Quilt for Alu

Yes, I did get your blocks. I have received soooo many blocks and the most amazing things is...they are all perfect. They are going together with me having to trim or anything. Have a look at it so far.

I have used about 300 blocks so far and I have almost that many left to use. More to come by the end of the day. Glad you like it.
I'm a little worried about the quilting part. If I machine quilt it, I will need to pay someone to do it. Also, won't machine quilting mess up the writing and writing s paces?
I could tie it with white & blue yarn or even crochet thread.
Come on everyone, what do you think?

If its matching up well then what goes on the back should be in the same place as the front and you or who quilts could miss that part.
Does that make since or just to me
Gwyn if you make it a full then she will be able to use long after collage

Gwyn, maybe the quilting should be something as simple as going straight down the row (in the ditch) at the 3 inch or 6 inch intervals? I wouldn't even try for anything fancy on something that complicated. The blocks are what is going to carry this quilt not fancy quilting. Tied quilts hold up fairly well (done many) but she might wash something like this often if it becomes a dorm room everything quilt.
