MamaHauser.....Congrats. Hope all goes smoothly. Moving can be so traumatic. The tea is this weekend and so you all know how it is with the last minute snafus. LOL. I can't wait to sew on my blocks.

You can send your blocks into me now if you are finished. Just let me know the tracking number.

Great news Mamahauser, some of the homes around here have sold much more quickly then in the past but we have two they tore down the old house and put in new ones. Those homes they wanted exorbitantly amount for and were listed for quite a while b4 they sold

here are MamaH's blocks. I had more trouble with this size half square triangle then the 3.5" ones. Don't understand why?

This one is mine, I like the block but it doesn't highlight the focal fabric very well Yikes only one left to go and I am afraid to tackle it

Travelinggrandma I got your blocks today. Yeah. Another set sent in. Wow you guys are really early achievers.
LOL. What do you guys think of my wall hanging. My daughter who is not into crafts and stuff like that really loves this and wants me to keep it so it will not be auctioned off at the tea. Sigh. She never likes anything I make or buy for her so this is a first. She is so excited about it. Who knew????
I like the 8 bedroom home by the way Kelly....although I don't want to be in the way of a tornado.

Hello ladies, It is with saddness that I tell you that I have lost a dear and beautiful soul in my life on this day, my mom has lost her presence on earth and has joined many other loved ones in the heaven above. She fell ill about a week ago and after a poor prognosis over the weekend we desired to allow her to enter the gates at her own free will, we removed her from life support Monday night, said our goodbye s and stayed with her as a family until she was ready. It took almost 2 full days and then at 5am this am she left us. Now as we try to plan to celebrate her decision in a new life, we pray that she will enjoy until we meet her again.💟

Teri I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad almost 2 years ago and I think of him everyday, but with a happy heart knowing he is happy and well now, looking over all of us (and pointing out my quilting errors).

We had a celebration of his life gathering and it was the best of times for all of us to truly enjoy all the ways he enriched our lives. I hope you and your family can also find the smiles in your hearts at her memories that will give you the strength you'll need the next few weeks.

You will be in my thoughts.
