Sherry, I sent you four pieces of fabric today.

Yvonne, thank you so much. I really worried about the Carrie Nation block. As a matter of fact, I was going to redo it because I thought it looked too garish. My family assured me that is just my dislike for yellow and it is fine. I really hope Jane thinks so!

I tell you, I am not sure what is wrong with me these days. I went to town to go to the PO, bank and gas station. Some how I misplaced a check. I think I may have stuck it in the package to Barbara by mistake. Fortunately, it wasn't a huge check but it was still money. Hopefully, it will turn up.

    Take care, ladies.

Jane, I received your fabric today. Thank you. Mary thank you for sending me pieces. I am planning your row and will wait to see what fabric you send. This is great, I can incorporate fabric from the other rows. That is so neat.

Mary, there's nothing wrong with you...you obviously just have too much on your mind right now. We've all done something similar a time or two. Sorry you have such an aversion to yellow...it's my all time favorite, especially soft butter yellow...makes me HAPPY!

Oh, Barbara, thank you so much! That brightens my day. I received a call from my credit card today and my card has been hacked. They caught it early but.... Anyway, to know that there are people as honest as yourself helps reaffirm my faith in mankind.

Mary, I am sorry to hear about your credit card. I received your fabric today and I am planning some of my blocks.

This group is so great. I am the leader in another group and someone has not sent my row and someone else's row since Feb. and we are really having a lot of problems.

Sherry, I worried about that happening, too. I am sorry to hear your row is missing. I was very careful with everyones rows to keep all the items together with the addresses. I had already told my family, "If something happens to me, please check my sewing room for envelopes of quilt blocks and send them to the address with them."

I hope to finish Barbara's this week and then I won't have to worry for a while.

Yvonne, I could only get 1 photo uploaded--but at least you can see a part of the row. Hope you like it.
Sherry, yes we are a great group--after all, we are perfect 10's. Sorry you're not having a good experience with the others. This has been so much fun for me.

Barbara it's adorable...can't WAIT to see the rest of it! The little owl is so cute and the guitar is a clever touch and the sleepy window...love it all!

Mary...hope your credit card company caught it early. Awful isn't it that people have nothing better to do with their time than to make life miserable for others?

Sherry I, also, worried about that at the beginning and I'm sorry that it happened after all the work you put into that row. Maybe it will still show up (I hope, I hope, I hope)

Jane when it arrives I'll let you know.

Yvonne, a little explanation which I also wrote in your notepad---
That guitar belongs to Elvis, who was a native Mississippian. And I now live about 6-8 miles from Graceland. I thought it was nice of him to leave it by the bait shop for you.

LOVE our group! Can't believe this is the last row! When we started I thought, gosh, it'll be almost 10 months before this is finished but, as always, life continues to happen along the way and time just flies by and, here we are, at the finish line.....sigh.....

It is getting exciting to see how all of the tops will be looking as we finish up what we are doing. I know I would be proud to own any of the tops that I have worked on. I am sure you all feel the same way. Yeah for all of us!!!!!

I have a question. I have never made a Jacob's ladder. Does the center square have to be a 4 patch? Do you need the 4 patches in the corners to make the ladder? Thanks, Sherry

Having been in several row robins, for me personally, it is easier to work on rows that are attached to each other, rather than having the rows separate. It is harder to plan my row when I can't visualize how the whole thing looks together. I know the rows I have right now each measure a different length. So, I am not sure which measurement to go by.
