I'm in the midst of packing for an extended stay at my vacation home in Calabash, NC It is such a tiresome effort as I'm working on Monday, leaving very early Tuesday morning. I just hope I don't forget anything!

Every time I see a 9-patch type quilt I am compelled to post about it in the swap threads. I found this during my internet travels. I found this today, and thought someone swapping might be inspired:

I'm working on my sets now. I have 4 sets done and one set yet to sew. I'm only doing 5 sets so I should have mine in the mail sometime this week. I bought a cute pattern yesterday and thought this would be a good one to use the with the 9-patches. Put a 9-patch inside the spool. Here is a picture in case anyone else would be interested.

I have 10 more to finish and I'll do that in work tomorrow. Trim them up too.. I hope to have them in the mail on Tuesday if not Thursday..I'm traveling to NC on Wednesday. Yay!

Well inbetween a great weekend of baseball and a horrid weekend of football, I got all but 4 patches done.

All I have left to do is trim threads and square them up. Then they'll be ready for the mail! Whoot! Whoot!!
