i love your avatar, oh nutty one! slide over on the couch and make room, cashew (gesundheit!). i love black licorice. my mom and i would get into physical fights trying to prise licorice whips, or bears, or babies out of the other's hands! best move ever was to texas, where my mom didn't live, and i got to eat all the black licorice i wanted. i may have let the first child try it, but i told the other 2 it was really nasty stuff made from bad parts of animals and left to rot until it turned black, and then they twisted it, cut it and put it into bags for devil worshippers to use in satanic rites. ok, i didn't tell them all that at first, i built on it through the years. caramel is my second favorite. yes, i even like the salted ones, but i prefer, get this, nose in the air, i prefer godiva milk chocolate covered caramels. oh, yum!! i worked at godiva and got to bring home the stuff that fell that we weren't allowed to sell. in 5th grade my daughter knew godiva very well, and i prayed she would meet a rich man to keep her in belgian godiva chocolate. smart kid, she listened to her dear old mom! big smile! i like chewy candy, the stuff that pulls fillings out. my dentist is named nancy, too. but hers is with a y (don't know y, i never ask! LOL)

You ladies keep talking about caramel, and chocolate covered caramel. Well, my boyfriend is bringing home a big box of Danish chocolate covered caramels tomorrow. He's also bringing home chocolate covered marzipan bits they call (literal translation) marzipan bread. OMG, that's gotta be my favorite that we bring home! My favorite candy of all is Reese's shapes (eggs are my favorite!) Cups are awesome, but the peanut butter to chocolate ratio is better on the shapes. It's ironic that my favorite candy is peanut butter, and my boyfriend thinks that peanut butter is the spawn of Satan, lol. Just leaves more for me!

ok see what a monster I started? Nancia you made me laugh big time. I wish I had been that quick with reasons they shouldnt eat it. darn it. Ok I say there is a party at Dustysmom's house. When did you say he is returning? Marzipan? I grew up on marzipan plain chocolate covered in bread stollen cookies.. oh yeah. My mom was big on marzipan and poppy seeds. We didnt eat like the other kids. so I say party at your house, everyone byoc and its going to be one heck of a great sugar fest!

Have you started your project? I admit it I have not. i have one item for sure in mind and will try something i have never done for the other one. so its hit or miss on that. we will see sorta thing I know some of you are probably already done. since its secret you can post what you made right and no one will know who is going to get it...just keep those clues tough.

I looked and tried to track it, to new in the system I guess, but it is on it's way. Lets see it's headed east and zip totals 22. There's a little clue.

Sewnsewer2, no need to send me a photo unless you want to. Just have to let me know you're ready. It's up to you if you'd like to post a pic here.

Elisabrat, he gets home tomorrow. He's in Amsterdam right now. Flight to Atlanta leaves in a few hours. I'm not sure you want to party at my house this week. Between busyness and threatening to let my son sleep under a bridge if he doesn't find a job in a hurry, it's been a long week. But, you can BYOC at my house anytime, as long as you bring wine too!
