Good morning everyone. Well, still no SS package, so I will spend Thanksgiving sulking in the naughty corner. I am quite sure I won't be alone.

I put my coat on and am ready to walk out the door "early" to shop, and where am I, but sitting here catching up on what I missed last night. So I guess I am caught up now and can get to a little food shopping. It will be only me here so I can buy what I want. I will get a big box of my favorite Pinot Grigio, so if anyone wants to sulk with me, I will happily share.

I'm still waiting on one box too, but am almost grateful because it isn't staring me in the face taunting me!! Have to be good and not spend all day lurking the forums, since I have a quilt that needs to be hand quilted for a friend by Dec 1st...THe biggest drawback of being out of work on disability, is even with all the free time I now have to do things I get even less done than when I was working

Pop on over to my place, Grann...Always room for one more at my table...
And bring the dogs....Tink would love it! You can shake and ponder my SSpackage...and we can have Gus and Heidi give it the real sniff test. With the small nose that Tink has, she can't get a really good sniff...

But I will have a quilt in hand to work on while at work. I am working on a Table Topper right now soon as I get off line. This is so much fun!!!!! Just lurking in the posts you learn so much about a person and their likes and dislikes. It sure helps you when you are trying to make a package for someone. Happy Holidays to All.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too. Although you will be working I hope you have a good day.

Whoo Hooo I got a pretty candy-cane like box in the mail yesterday!!! It doesn't jiggle but does shift. So I didn't shake it too much just in case!! Thank You Secret Santa from Lansing, MI.

Man It's a good thing that I'm currently distracted with my SO's couch quilt and Oh yeah I have been meeting with a lady about making a Queen Size Wedding Quilt for her Son for July 2013. Looks Like I and my other quilty friend(wh will be doing the big vineyard scene with a arbor with the bride & groom appliqued on the top of the quilt) will having a paying jig for the winter. I'm doing all the handstitching..... and there's a LOT of fancy stitch work to be done. Good thing we are washing the fabrics this week. Oh Boy!! Good thing I can check out book on Cd's from my little village library. They sure are going to become really handy during my stitching time. Okay I've rambled on......

Once again.... Thank You Secret Santa I'm waiting with abated breathe 'til I can open my pressie.

I got an email from the post office to say the package I sent tried to be delivered today. Check your mail box for a delivery attempt notice if you live east of the west coast

I posted yesterday that I won a tree from Old Time Pottery. They emailed and said it shipped today and will be here Monday or Tuesday. The tree has 240 ornaments. That is going to be so much fun. I will post pics when it arrives.
    Happy Quilting.

SusanSomething and Brenda, I got my package and they are waiting for me to open. Now, once I open them, I might be inclined to share - you know some of the candy, maybe a whiff of the candles, a cup of tea, that sort of thing. None of the big stuff, but maybe some of the smaller. Will that make you feel better?

I guess there are quite a few of us who must have been, shall we say, not the best all year ??????

and Santa is taking his good old time making our deliveries.......

By what date do we begin to worry if it doesn't arrive........

let's see, opening is the 9th........mmmmmm, maybe around the 1st?

Do we contact Terri if packages do not arrive by 12/1......that should be plenty of time if mailed on the 14th.
My package took Santa only 2 days to drop it off to my Santa..ee, and that way acroos the country.....but still haven't seen anything on the board that she received it......

    Oh well, time will tell.....

happy Thanksgiving again.....everyone, table set and ready to start the day .. beginning with the Parade........

I have received my package from Secret Santa in Owatonna, MN. How fun - always love saying that word!

There have been multiple family emergencies in my life the past couple of months & I'm still not quite sane as a result. Rest assured - I have a partner out there feeling very naughty who will be receiving her package on Saturday! My sincerest apologies.

To Everyone on the SS Board here.....I'm dropping off the grid until Friday sometime, so I wanted to make sure I wished you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

And I hid my package so DH and DD wouldn't get any ideas and get the rest of the family in on trying to open it for me tomorrow. They'll never find it......hehehe. But I do peek in and look at if from time to time. I don't want it to feel lonely sitting there all by itself in the dark!!!!!
The trouble with Trouble is.....It usually starts out like fun!!
