Great Dane tails tend to clear off tables real fast, and any decorations midway on the tree end up on the floor. I got rid of my coffee table as soon as Heidi arrived. I put my tree in the basement sewing studio where I usually entertain for Christmas anyway. This year, I am NOT having Christmas here, family issues. I will put up my sewing tree in the entryway on top of the treadle and that will be my tree this year. If it wasn't for you girls, I would be really BAH HUMBUG this year.

Aww, the things we do for our furbabies. Sorry about your family issues grann of 6. I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Christmas music always brightens my day during the holidays. I like to turn it up a little loud. Hard to be sad when I'm singing about Christmas.

Yes, I have lots of Christmas music and I start playing it the day after Thanksgiving. Grandkids will most likely be here at some point for our annual Gingerbread House decorating party. Oldest DGS is in college so we have to wait till he gets home after Dec. 16th. I have done this since he was a year old and he insists we keep up the tradition. I have 6 Gkids ranging from 20 down to 7. The 2 youngest most likely won't be joining in this year, as it is their mother that seems to have some issues with me seeing the girls. She has been a ***** since day 1. I have tried my best to get along with her. I was only ever any good when she needed a babysitter. Now that the girls are in school, she doesn't need a babysitter any more, so she doesn't even speak to me. DS is oblivious to what is going on. So I decided I don't need to be in her presence any more. So I will let the rest of them enjoy her lies and deceit, and I will stay home, thank you.

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Every body stops
and stares at me
These two teeth are
gone as you can see
I don't know just who
to blame for this catastrophe!
But my one wish on Christmas Eve
is as plain as it can be!

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth!

Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could be with you
"Merry Christmas."
It seems so long since I could say,
"Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!"

Gosh oh gee, how happy I'd be,
if I could only whistle (thhhh)

All I want for Christmas
is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth,
see my two front teeth.
Gee, if I could only
have my two front teeth,
then I could wish you
"Merry Christmas!"

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer
Grandma got run over by a reindeer
Walking home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog,
And we'd begged her not to go.
But she'd left her medication,
So she stumbled out the door into the snow.

When they found her Christmas mornin',
At the scene of the attack.
There were hoof prints on her forehead,
And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back.

Grandma go run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now were all so proud of Grandpa,
He's been takin' this so well.
See him in there watchin' football,
Drinkin' beer and playin' cards with cousin Belle.

It's not Christmas without Grandma.
All the family's dressed in black.
And we just can't help but wonder:
Should we open up her gifts or send them back?

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Now the goose is on the table
And the pudding made of pig.
And a blue and silver candle,
That would just have matched the hair in Grandma's wig.

I've warned all my friends and neighbours.
Better watch out for yourselves."
They should never give a license,
To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.

Grandma got run over by a reindeer,
Walkin' home from our house, Christmas eve.
You can say there's no such thing as Santa,
But as for me and Grandpa, we believe.

Thanks again Dreamer. Oh, do I remember the "Two Front Teeth" one. My first grade school picture is me with my 2 front teeth missing, and my two brothers singing "THITHTER THUTHIE THITTING ON A THITHLE". (My name is Suzanne and I was called Suzie).
I just may have to get the Christmas music out today. Every time my DGD comes over, she wants to get it out. My favorite CD is Cyndi Lauper. "I'll be home on Christmas Day. I'm just a phone away......"

Here's one of my favorties. I can just hear Eartha Kitt growling . . .

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight

Naughty Corner's full...
If we pile all our gifts on his sleigh and then tell Santa "Up and Away"
The reindeer won't be able to pull!

You are tooooo funny!

Jingle Bell Rock
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock
Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring
Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun
Now the jingle hop has begun

Jingle bell
jingle bell
jingle bell rock
Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time
Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square
In the frosty air

What a bright time
it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle bell time is a swell time
To go gliding in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse
pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet
That's the jingle bell

That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bell rock
