I thought these were filled with heavy filling to weigh it down. Then it was used as a pattern weight... I read that somewhere. I guess it could be used for a pin cushion or whatever you want.I've got some pin dot black fabric, think I'll try that for mine.I'm gonna stuff the top with polyfill to use as pincushion and add a little bag of emery in the bottom so it will sit well and I can sharpen my pins and needles with the bottom.(poor little henny)Mary

Mary, I assumed they were pin cushions so I filled w/poly-fill! LOL I guess they can be whatever you want them for. Paperweight never crossed my mind, good one!

I'm not as greedy as some people (not saying anyone in particular) but any of those little chicks without a home can come to my house and play.

I have to go pick up kids from school, but I'll be back, so save me a CHICKEN--PLEASE!

Thanks for the information Mary, as I was worried about poking my little friends.

She's not to far from me. Need to get to the store and start shopping. Love the chickens! So now I need to make one, hope its not too hard. Let's see ... I live south of alot of you and I like Moda and green ... so maybe mine is already on the way!! Got to get busy and get off the computer! LOL!
