I am intrigued about the homemade vanilla extract...peaceandjoy, how do you do that?

Soniboo, where did you get that big orange floral? I think I have it in green (a FQ) at home, but surely if I saw that orange I would have bought it.LOL. Do you know who makes them?

Lori,
Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Is Faye the only Floridian who got her package?? Well, technically I got one too- I think- but can't touch it until next week, of course I am going to be wishing my life away until then  oh never mind, I see that Crafty Darlene and Moortll have got their packages too.
Candi I haven't gotten mine either! But I am waiting patiently.

Add me to the list of people who have a missing Thang. I refuse to buy another, not because they are expensive but b/c I KNOW it's here... Someplace...

I have 3 or 4 of them. When I can't find any of them, then it's time to clean my sewing room!!

Wow ... lots of pages to read as I was away for 2 days ... lots of chitter chatter. Enjoy reading all of the posts.

Lots of packages being received; and lots of great ideas and beautiful fabrics.

Lori hope you are feeling better.

I never heard tell of this purple thang until now ... I must run out and buy myself one I surely could use it.

Well just checked my confirmation on my package that I sent 6 days ago and it is now finally leaving Canada ... Hopefully my secret pal will recieve it in the next couple of days.

I am still waiting for mine ... so I am off to the bench today to check out what goodies there are and see who is all there and have some chit chat time.

Yup that's me too. I'll find where it is hiding eventually.

Well since my purple thang decided to take a vacation when I needed it last night, I made due without it. I used a hair stick instead. Since I am working with triangle pieces and needed to keep the points lined up even on both ends. So here is what I did. I used my washable elmers glue with a fine tip nozzel and put a small dab on each end to keep them lined up. I worked perfectly. I didn't have to fight with the ends at all. Just used the hair stick to make sure it sewed straight at the end.
