Spring churn dash 12.5 block swap
#533
I'm so excited about these blocks. I have a few little tweeks to make.
I am using 3 size blocks 6", 9", and 12" finished. I still have to border all the 9" blocks. I will be working on that during the week. I have a puppy that had bladder surgery this week. So, am staying close to home to be near him. I also added a few blocks that are special or that have pinwheels in the center. I am also going to pull several and save them for the back that I don't exceptionally like. And replace them with the swap blocks when they come in. I think it will be a 7 x 8 block layout. All measuring 12.5" unfinished. (56 blocks) And, then, a final border if I need it to bring it to size.
I'm seeing some great blocks. Any I would be proud to add to my quilt when they are swapped out.

Here's a link to the skinny churns within a churn. Top right corner. http://hoosiertoni.blogspot.com/2013...ariations.html the other two came out of the Quiltmaker's 100 blocks (vol. 9 and vol. 14) magazine. And, the triple 6.5 inch block that is just sitting on top of another block, a friend made. I'm going to use in in the center of a 12.5 inch block.
