    Here is the blocks that I have made for the swap. The block is a nine-patch Variation. I found some cute wintery aminal fabric at a small fabric shop nearby. And knew that would be my middle block. I used dark blue and dark green fabric for the nine patch.

    bejay28 -- thanks for the embroidery link, though it did cost me over $50 (lol). I'm just now figuring out how to work the embroidery features on my Brother and have been looking for some good, cheap patterns to download (since the ones that came with the machine are either really lame or gawdy or require a total thread inventory of colors). The site had great tutorials and some really good sales. I recommend it. Thanks again.
